I visited for some bbq about 1230pm on 28 March and was told they were out of bbq. At 1230??? After recovering from shock, I ordered some ribs, a large pile of which was available. Unfortunately I ordered okra too, which took about 20 minutes because their fryer was backed up with fries. Finally I heard someone in the kitchen say "ribs and okra" and then put up my container full of food. I waited another 5 minutes, still no food, so I just walked out. Will never go back. Got some bbq down the road at Golden Corral.

What a tragedy… I just went back for the first time under new management and this place definitely is not what it used to be. Everything I ordered was soggy… the mac and cheese was cold. The prices have gone up as well. I may or may not go back again, but this was bad. Money wasted…

Use to be great but now bottom tier. Got fried catfish and shrimp combo. I THREW UP before I could finish the plate. I swear on my life. Hushpuppies and fries were soggyI’ve been a cook in different establishments and they’re either selling outdated food or not properly storing raw meats/preventing cross contamination properly. Will never eat here again. You shouldn’t either if you value your health. All places have to do is cleanup when they know they’re due for EcoLab inspection and they’ll get a decent score

The first major wrong is they have a hand written sign on a half sheet of paper saying prices are different from the prices on the screen rather then fixing the screen prices my meal was a $4+ difference from the screen price…the sides had no pricing on the board. The potato salad was more like regular unseasoned mashed potatoes, the turkey bbq lacked seasoning. The cold-slaw tasted amazing but the cabbage pieces in it was not cut up properly I kept scooping huge pieces of cabbage and the hot sauce…they need a better brand it’s just red dye.

disappointed in the pricing changes from what’s shown on the menu board versus the prices at checkout. (up to a $5 difference).the menu before they reopened gave better understanding to what the place has to offer and prices. i was looking forward to this revisit but immediately got turned off. wont be eating here anymore & i don’t recommend either.

The chopped bbq sandwich was wonderful. Reminded me of ones I got at home in MO back in the 60s. First time back since remodeling. It looks great.

White meat chicken plate under old management $9.25 with 2 pieces of chicken. Now $15.96 for one piece. Will never return. Food not good they use OLD GREASE. THEY JUST NEED TO CLOSE AND NOT REOPEN. I don't recommend ANYTHING.

This place is closed. No trespassing signs up etc. Seems they took the 50k designated to help the upgrade from the go fund me donations from our concerned residents and just left. The children couldn't manage it. So sad. Was once great.

As bad or worse than I remember. Horrible pulled pork. No taste. Bland and tons of horrible tart cole slaw. Sides were bad. Why did I let my friend drag me here. How has this place not closed down. Will never go back. For good bbq go elsewhere. MCL cafeteria had better bbq.
