Absolutely metaphorical that this Best Buy sits in the far corner of New Hope Commons in an unlit area. Customer service is non-existent. Apparently they don't negotiate on open box items which seems odd to me when I've literally done that a few times. Oh, and if you see a customer waiting 15 minutes to talk to the manager perhaps someone else should take some effort to talk to said customer.

Been shopping at this exact location for years. I spend thousands of dollars at Best Buy every year. I broke my hand before Christmas and was delayed with my returns because of surgery and doctor's appointments. When I tried to return my sealed item with receipt I was told that I was outside of the return window and that there was nothing that they can do with the item. The same item that is still currently sitting on their shelf for sale. I can see if it was a normal thing but my hand is literally in a splint and I have x-rays, CT scan, and pictures of the pins in my hand. I no longer support this location or the franchise in general. Amazon delivers to the front door for less, values their customers, and makes Christmas returns easy.

Cedric was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products! He answered all of our questions and provided us with many suggestions regarding the IPad and accessories that we purchased. He took his time and was patient with us. Definitely recommend asking if he is working! Thank you!!

Needless to say I was pleased with the work they did with my computer. However, I dropped off my computer along with the power cord. When I went back to pick it up that night it wasn’t until I got home that I realized they didn’t give me the power cord back that had been checked in. I took the computer back the next day along with my paperwork and the guy went in the back and looked and couldn’t find my cord. Instead of giving me a new universal cord ( because they lost mines) I was given a cord they had laying around. But that wasn’t before he picked up a cord that had been laying on the floor behind the counter and offered that to me. The utter look of shock on my face compelled him to go in the back and find a cord they had laying around.If I hadn’t gotten the hard drive replaced I would cancel my membership today! Total lack of respect of other peoples property.

Geek Squad appointment ‘window’ was from 7am to 7pm. After waiting until 6pm I called Best Buy only to find out the appointment was cancelled. No notification. They were apologetic and refunded the charge but had no explanation for what happened. If you have an alternative option for tech assistance might be worth looking into.

This is the closest Best Buy to my home however not really my favorite. They have very smart and kind customer service associates but when I went last time to return an item, I was 1 day past the date allowed to return it. I was pretty disappointed and the technician advised to get Best Buy plus so I would have more time to do a return. I paid for it expecting he would then allow me to return the item, well he didn’t. I then went to the Best Buy near Streets of SouthPoint Mall in Durham and told the guy to look at both my account and my husband’s account and how much we buy from their store. We buy all of our IPhones all in cash usually as soon as they hit the floor. We also buy our gaming systems, iPads,AirPods, accessories and everything else we can get from there bc we trust Best Buy products. The. I explained that I had went to this Beat Buy and they wouldn’t accept my return even being one day late even when I purchased the Best Buy plus plan bc of the extra time. The employee said hey that really sucks. I will go ahead and return your item. It was still wrapped in the clear shrink wrap and had the security tabs still on the box so he knew I hadn’t even used it. He returned my item and put it on a Best Buy card and in return I spent the entire 600$ store credit plus an additional 200$ just for being so good to me. I truly was lucky to have an associate willing to help out a loyal customer. I was pretty salty I won’t lie and had that associate not returned my item I truly doubt I would have continued to do as much business with Best Buy as I usually do. Thanks so much to the kind employee who went above and beyond to help me in a sucky situation. I hope you get all the best opportunities in the future at Best Buy or whatever you work!
