I really liked the room and location. I had a quiet room that overlooked the greenbelt. The staff were attentive and very helpful.Rooms: The extended stay room had adequate facilities. The bathroom and room were very clean. The laundry room was not always clean and some washers and dryers did not work.Safety: The location was safe but some residents propped the back door open which is not safe!Walkability: It was easy to walk to local stores or get there by bus.

Easy in and out, not far from interstate, food within walking distance, pretty dog park. Room was nice but previous guest had broken all bathroom towel holders2 days until it could be fixed. After that, it was great!

I wanted to love this place. I will say the Pros are why I'm giving it a second star.Pros: For the area it's not crazy expensive and it's near some decent dining places and the mall. I like the desk and kitchen set up in our room.Cons: As many have stated it is an overwhelming smell of weed. Unfortunately our neighbors were a bunch of kids having a party. We could feel the music in our room. People were smoking so much that when we opened our door the smell got in our room. There was a drunk chick in the hall who couldn't get up she was so wasted. They were loud up and down the halls yelling, laughing and whooing. This went on until about 11:30pm. Then they were out in the parking lot continuing on but this time multiple of them were also revving their engines until 1am. It was so loud it muffled the sound of our TV. There was no way to sleep through it so we had to just wait it out. Also our TV remote was broke, only certain buttons worked. The room needed cleaning/maintenance. The walls had dirty spots and the ceiling a giant water stain. Our recliner had a huge dark oil stain on the head rest. It was the size of a head. Like someones head was oily and left a giant gross stain. The pot on our oven top was also caked with burnt something??I found two spiders in the bed. The next morning I had bites all down one of my legs, 6 bites (maybe from the spiders?) I took pictures and videos. I'll try to link them or upload. This just seems to be more of a college kid hangout spot. It's not the place to go if you just need a place to sleep for the night.Rooms: Need deep cleaning and painting.Nearby activities: Indoor/Outdoor shopping mallFood & drinks: Plenty nearby! I recommend Sushioki!Noteworthy details: Full kitchen, large desk

Entire motel smells like Marijuana. First room they gave me smelled like an ashtray and had water all over bathroom floor. Second room was better, I noticed while showering in the morning the ceiling was covered in mold.Don't stay here!

$150 deposit is required! They don't show you this anywhere else!! We got our room and it smelled like a cheap cigar, so they put us in the spare room and the coffee carafe doesn't go all the way up to let the coffee in and there were roaches and It was low on supplies ,no hand soap, and there was ice in the sink. Morning crew was kind and helpful the evening crew was hit or miss.Noteworthy details: $150 deposit was required!! Seat cushion on sofa was torn.

I was pleasantly surprised how lovely this hotel was. I was informed it was remodeled in the past 5 years and it showed. The staff was very helpful. Sure I would have wanted more amenities like free breakfast and a butler, but this is not the Plaza. However it was clean, the location was perfect and I felt safe. I will point out that someone's car did get their window smashed in during the night. I did not hear it , just saw the glass shattered in the parking lot. Did not bring my pup this time, but seemed very pet friendly. There was a BBQ area for the summer months, door dashed some very good food and it arrived within 30 minutes. Free laundry and decent work out room. Wi-Fi was never lagging for streaming, but make sure to keep room key away from magnets. I kept having to get a new one. Doors from the outside needed a key for entry including front lobby after 11 pm. No daily room service, but linens and towels exchanged for clean ones when asked. Stay here again... for the price I paid.... ABSOLUTELY. (stay Dec 29-Jan2)Walkability: This is not an area for an evening stroll to a downtown area. One could walk to the gas station or maybe a fast food near by but a car is a must!

Staff is pretty friendly, but no cameras and the doors leading into the hotel do not lock. So anyone can and has just walked in. The parking lot is not well lit with lots of the light burned out. In our short time there over a dozen vehicles were broken into.Whoever owns this property doesn't care for their customers safety or their vehicles. Just wants the money and is letting the hotel run down. No place in this area is safe with crime running completely unchecked and no police presence. Avoid the entire triangle area.Safety: This area and hotel isn't safe at all. Avoid the entire Trangle area.

So many issues where to start? The employee working the counter wore nothing to show he worked at the hotel had a cap on to the point that I couldn’t see his eyes.Checked me in fairly quickly never once mentioned the $150 hold on my card. I had to ask about it when I saw a paper stating it.Get to my room on the first floor and the toilet had pee and toilet paper along with bugs crawling all over it.Went to put things in the fridge and noticed at least 10-20 ants on the counter. Pulled the fridge out to find about 15 more insects including 2-3 small roaches.Went to the front and the only comment made was “I guess I can get you a new room”Wanted to leave and find another hotel but he told me he would/could not do a refund.

Cost effective, feels safer than other alternatives nearby, but those alternatives are still near by.Safety: Not the best intersection. Lota of grifters.

This place is old. There probably hasn't been a reno in 20 years. The room still smells of smoke. I think they have full time welfare recipients for residents.Rooms: Laminate flooring was stained. Grout was mildewed. Walls were stained. Deadbolt didn't work.

Room 135 tub doesn't drain, the hot water takes 5-10 mins to activate, no soap upon arrival, didn't get replaced during my stay. Overall the hotel doesn't seem to be getting the attention it deserves from management. The "business center" is less than adequate. The "convenience store" was not stocked.

I stayed at this hotel for seven days. I’ve never felt more gross walking into a hotel. The hotel smells like skunk weed, the tile floors were sticky, and the carpets haven’t been cleaned in years. The shower in my room was dirty and the room smelled awful even after being cleaned. There was no hot water for my entire stay which is very aggravating. There were two black men staying about three doors down that was smoking weed so heavily in the room that smoke was pouring into the hallway… at 0630 in the morning. That was my cue to leave. The sad thing is they charged me $59.00 a night where I could have went straight to the WoodSpring hotel for $55 a night and it’s a brand new hotel that’s worlds nicer. If you generally stay at Marriott or similar quality chains like I do, you will not want to stay at this location.Stay away from Candlewood RTP.
