The meat prices are very good the problem was my mother tried to use her card it would not go through or their computer system does not accept the insurance extra help card which is held by food and things like that therefore she left without getting anything which means it was a waste of my time and my gas to take her there.

These reviewers talking about how warm and friendly they are must be kin. They quite literally refuse to say a word to me. The cashiers ignore me when I thank them. One of them looks at me with disdain. I thought Food Lion’s customer service was bad but Carlie C’s IGA in Durham makes them look like superstars. Managers see this behavior and do nothing. I guess the recorded guy on the PA system is all the friendly you get at Carlie C’s. Sad state of affairs. I’ll be reporting this behavior to the corporate offices if IGA even has them. 0 stars do not recommend.

Only if you want to save money & get quality meats...Still ! The economy is getting worst,Charlie C's has quality meats,seasoning,veggies & spices,& the employee's are courtesy,hard working individuals,who see & feels the communities struggle...

I love Carley Cs. The people are helpful & friendly.My husband got us ribs today & irresponsible was delicious.I just got out of the hospital after a month I couldn't come today but the store is set up so everything is easy to find so my husband was able to get what we needed & then some.l'm looking forward to when I am able to come back.
