Every interaction is polite and professional. The people I engaged with are quite nice and want to help you. Clear level of mis-information which results in a waste of a customer's time. Called several times and asked the same question and I've gotten different answers.Thank for trying to help answer my question, but don't tell me the wrong answer when it comes to my finances.

I called on a Tuesday to have a replacement debit card sent. I was told 3 business days! Coastal was quick to take my money. I called again on the following Monday only to find out that the card was never expedited. Lots of "I am sorry's" and no resolution! I have already taken two days off to wait for a delivery that must be signed for. As a long time customer, this is completely unacceptable and now, I can somehow get to a branch miles from home or wait another 7-10 days because the card was never ordered! FIND A DIFFERENT BANK!

Disappointed that I can call a branch directly.. Been sitting on hold for 7 minutes and another minute explaining to the agent what I needed, then another 2 minutes to finally reach someone at the branch. All while trying to follow up on a call I had with the Page road branch. Please post branch phone numbers and make contacting a branch an option in your auto-attendant. I'll up my score from a 1 star to 5 star once this has been completed.

Refinanced our car with coastal and got a much better rate than the dealership offered. Very pleased with my experience in the branch to finalize documents. They were very respectful of my time since I was on my lunch hour. Great experience!

There are some okay perks, but when you run into any issues (fraud in my case), you are on your own. Called and the customer service rep told me to leave a message and I’d get a call right back. Here we are a week later and still nothing. Overall I liked them in the past, but am seriously considering closing several accounts here.

I'm very disappointed in the service that I've recently recently from Coastal Credit Union. I called in today regarding an issue I saw with my account. I explained the issue. I was told that I requested a Skip-a-pay, which I didn't. I was put on hold for about 5-10 minutes. I wasn't told I was being transferred. Another rep came on the line and said that I must have pressed the wrong button on the website and that there's nothing they could do. She said that this has happened with other customers. I told her that I didn't think it was right and asked again if anything could be a done. She was very rude and seemed irritated that I pressed the issue. I asked to speak someone else. She was nicer, but said there was nothing they can do. I had to ask her what would happen next month and ongoing. She said that my loan will be off a month. She basically said don't make the payment. I told her I didn't want to do that and she said we'll it'll show off every month for the remainder of the loan. I just don't understand in 2020 how this can't be fixed.

This credit union will try to hook you with their high interest checking accounts but don't bother, they're constantly lowering the rate. My interest rate is now half of what it was when I joined. Meanwhile loan interest rates have continued to go up.

I've been a member since '97. I don't use my account often, but it's there. Because of my infrequent use, they refused to deposit my check and then refused to cash it. They sent me to a bank where I'm NOT a member, and DON'T have an account, to take care of the services they claim to provide to their members. This is the rudest and most useless bank I've ever used; and exactly why I don't use it often in the first place.
