Writing this review to share a truly disappointing experience I had today at your store. I had to return a dish, and the employee at the entertaining section register was not only unhelpful but also unprofessional.
When I tried to explain the reason for the return, she was dismissive and argumentative. She refused to acknowledge a visible flaw in the dish, stating she 'didn't see it,' and insisted on arguing about it. A simple transaction should not require a debate, especially since my intent was to simply exchange the item for an identical one.
The employee's attitude was so hostile and uncooperative that I cannot help but feel this was a case of racial discrimination. Her behavior was far beyond typical rudeness and seemed to be based on more than just a simple misunderstanding.
I rarely write negative reviews, but the lack of basic customer service I experienced was so significant that I felt the need to share it. I believe better training on how to handle customer returns and customer interaction in general is necessary for your staff. I hope Crate & Barrel takes this feedback seriously to prevent similar experiences for other customers.

Best experience I’ve had at a Crate & Barrel. Staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Harold is the absolute best when it comes to kitchen appliances. Looking forward to returning to this location.

We like the products. Awful customer service and not owning up to their mistakes. I wouldn’t recommend this place. We ordered a set and were told both items were ready and one wasn’t. We were charged the full amount and then told the other half of the set was back ordered.

I went to the store about 10 minutes ago to buy a couch and maybe a dinner table. I walked in and there was 2 people up front at the desk and neither person said hi or asked me if I needed any help. I walked around the entire store and only two of the people who work there had customers so I give those two women a pass. Every other employee ignored me. I’m not sure if it’s because I don’t look or dress like their normal clients. I was wearing blue shorts and a wrestling tee shirt. One of the ladies who works in what appears to be the kitchen department was nice enough to help me find someone who ended up being one of the two people who were up front when I first walked in. I told him I work in Sales and it was upsetting/odd that no one greeted me or asked if I needed help. As a person who works retail I take customer service very seriously. When I spoke to him about my concerns on the lack of customer service he said uhhh.. well what are you looking at. And I said and that attitude is exactly why I am leaving. This experience has been one of the worst of my life and I do not recommend this place to anyone unless you fit what they expect you to look like and dress like.

We purchased the 65-in basque table and four chairs with the bench. We are thrilled with this set. It is beautiful and sturdy. We had an amazing white glove delivery from Jason and Jermaine. They were extremely careful and meticulous about ensuring our furniture was assembled and set exactly the way we wanted.

The store has a pretty wide variety of items, is clean, and well laid out. The staff are very friendly and helpful and can answer most questions.

Mimi was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful while I was looking for sectional couches today. She greeted me right away and took me right to the three collections I was interested in. She knew all about the products, pulled swatches, and was super helpful!

I was really interested in Crate and Barrel’s free in-home interior design service and reached out with a clear budget of $15,000–$20,000, expecting a more streamlined experience. Instead, I was told I had to come into the store first just to “discuss details”—which I was very happy to do it. But, they shared that there’s no guarantee they'd actually schedule an in-home appointment.
Frankly, it feels misleading. If you advertise a free in-home design consultation, it shouldn’t require jumping through hoops with no assurance it’ll happen—even after sharing a serious budget. The service process was frustrating and vague. Disappointing from a brand I expected more from.

Our recent trip to Crate & Barrel was a truly wonderful experience, primarily due to Lael. We were on a mission to buy a Breville coffee machine, and Lael's expertise and kindness made the process so enjoyable. She patiently answered all our questions, and when needed, she seamlessly brought in another knowledgeable team member. We never felt rushed, and her encouragement was much appreciated. Beyond the excellent service, the store was immaculate and well-organized. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

The quality of the customer service is lacking. Some of the staff are quite rude, or at least have insufficient customer service skills. It's very off-putting when you are spending $500 on some plates and then to be scolded for standing in the wrong area of the store. The customer pick-up area for curb-side pick-up is not well organized or designated. Staff need better training and social skills.

Beautiful rooms set up in this store to give the buyer great ideas in decorating their homes. It's a must-see. Associates are friendly and helpful.
