I came to this DMV to get a NC license after moving from out of state. I arrived at 8:00am with all of my documents. you scan a QR code posted outside of the DMV and go into a Que. I thought that was good and that this DMV would probably be efficient. after waiting in my car for 2 hours I get a text from the Que that says sorry it is taking so long, we will call you as soon as possible. you can type leave to be removed from the Que with no further updates. I went into the building to see what number that they are currently on and the gentleman said that the screen is not accurate and that it could possibly take all day. There are no bathrooms in the building and the surrounding businesses do not have any available either. There is a McDonalds across the street. Long story short, do not make any other plans if you have to come to this DMV. 1 Star is pretty generous and that is simply because of the QR code check in. now if the people inside would move with a sense of urgency to actually get people through the Que it would be amazing.

Worst experience at a DMV ever!! The manager was awful. The woman at the front was trying to help me but kept getting overruled by her manager who kept postponing my number for others. This location desperately needs new leadership.

Waited all day long to get my license renewed - they sent me a text message to go to a different location 30 minutes before the place closes, and they won't even tell me the address for that location. I know people say they don't like the DMV but oh my Lord this is so horribly mismanaged it's almost unbelievable.

Worst experience..ladies staff working there is so rude unprofessional with so much attitude..there work process is very slow they took 60 minutes just to fill the form I was there from 9.30 as walk in for learners permit there was no rush still waited for 7 hours I gave my exam at 3pm when I passed the exam the lady told me to wait in a line after waiting for 45 minutes the line was not for learners permit I was so disappointed after that the lady made blunder mistakes while filling the form and blaming me I didn’t provided right information I was politely talking her and the response was so rude she was making fun of me and laughing at me though i was so patient as it was my first experience facing such people..learnt my lesson..please try other dmv’s ..if you don’t want get humiliated with rude attitude..

Very rude and unfriendly staff. Also if you forget a document and they tell you to have it faxed, don't bother. You're better off coming and completely different day and just making sure you have it then

It’s a DMV… expect to wait and don’t expect top tier customer service. The workers are here to do their jobs and that’s it. It’s totally fine. Thought I’d review since there are so many terrible reviews.I went early on a Monday.7:20AM arrived. Line of 20 outside the lobby.7:30 someone put out a sign with QR code to get in line for a walk-in appointment.7:45 got a text to wait in the lobby, but then a worker approached me and asked me to wait in my car.8:00 text to come in to a station. Woman was brief but helpful. No phones once you’re out of the lobby. Quick and painless process from there.

Absolute worst experience at this DMV. The lady at the front desk was incredibly rude. Stated I would have to sit in my car and wait, which I did for roughly 2 hours. I finally got my confirmation text after seeing it 3 minutes later and they told me that it took too long and would have to reenter the wait list. Absolute joke of an establishment

Best to arrive early in the morning as opposed to later in the morning. It tends to be more crowded at the end of the month. When I arrived at 2:00 pm toward the end of the month, I waited more than 2 hours and then I had to leave. When I arrived at 7:00ish during the middle of the month, I didn't wait very long at all. Please note that I did not have an appointment at either time as appointments were filled several months out.

Very poor management and bad atmosphere. The ticket numbers and orders oddly goes down instead of going up. Another negative point there's too long break time between announcing new numbers,that leads to long waiting time and poor customer service.
