If they ask if you want a receipt - say yes ... and if they don't offer to give you a receipt - ask for it - and then check to make sure they haven't double charged on random items ....Some members of the team may want to rethink working a job facing the public - or try to be a little friendlier to customers.

Not only are the selections too notch, but so is the service. There are true angels working there! My car broke down and the staff rallied around to help me. I truly appreciate their kindness and hospitality. A special shout out to Jordan for going the extra mile to help out a stranger!

I really love this place! I moved from Raleigh to Durham a while back, and when I changed cities I wanted to be more committed to helping the community and take part in the offerings of the city/rural areas. This Co-Op is in a pretty accessible area for everyone, the only shortcomings have nothing to do with the store, but city planning making walking/biking places difficult. It's a really lovely atmosphere when you're inside, the produce is absolutely beautiful, they have nice indoor and outdoor seating, and they even have one of the community "Little Library" stands outside in their picnic area. It's a wonderful mixed use space for people to shop, get a bite to eat, and relax. I love it.

A lil pricy but good produce, handcrafted foods like this apple walnut chicken salad is so good. Could not find regular crackers only saw plant based ones which didn't taste bad but crumb so fast. The gluten free blueberry cheesecake was delicious. My son loved the sushi.

I'm a member of the Durham Co-op Market and I strongly believe in their values and mission. I love the fact that they support local farmers, small organic farms and only sell meat from suppliers that don't subscribe to animal cruelty. They pay a living wage to all of their employees as well. I have nothing bad to say about the Durham Co-op Market.

Good people! Food costs more but it is aimed more towards those who prefer gluten free, organic and healthier food choices. It ain’t your typical store! I enjoyed my visit ! Thanks guys !!!

Great local & organic foods, as well as a wide variety of vegan & gluten free foods! The locally produced grass-fed ground beef has a much better flavor than most store-bought ground beef, & it's leaner; makes amazing burgers! Local eggs (from Hillsborough) are fresh & delicious, & seldom will you find a cracked egg in the carton. A great selection of locally baked breads & cakes is displayed, & there's a very good selection of beers & wines. Great selection of vitamins, supplements, & beauty/skin care products, too!

I like the concept of co-ops but it can also limit the options and pricing. This place is far from our home in South Durham so we don't come that often. We were in the neighborhood and stopped in to see if they had a few items on our grocery list. Yeah, prices are pretty high but the quality of the items is high. They used to have more dining options but it looks like COVID has limited that some. I appreciate that they carry local products but this place is not on our regular list of grocery stores.
