Durham Resue Mission does so much to serve the community. Their Victory Program is top notch and they have even donated items to my school in the past. The staff there is typically very sweet. 💝 I have been shopping at DRM for several years to dress myself, my family members, my students, and to support my various concerts and productions at schools. I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years. However, I DONT WANT TO PAY NEW PRICES FOR USED ITEMS! $20 FOR USED MEN'S SHOES WITH SIGNS OF WEAR IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS AND DISGUSTING! This is more than just inflation but greed. $14 FOR A USED FAST FASHION DRESS IS DISGUSTING AND DISRESPECTFUL. I just bought a new dress on sale for $13. I have been shopping and donating at the Durham Rescue Mission since college. $3.49 for a used shirt is reasonable and with inflation and expenses, $4.99 is okay. But $7.99 is WILD! $3.99 for a Dollartree Glass Vase that originally cost $1.25 is sickening and STRAIGHT UP ABUSIVE! I am upset at the greed and disregard for myself as a customer. I have tried to speak with a few managers and supervisors about this issue, but they didn't hear me. So I thank DRM for their service, but unfortunately it makes more financial sense to shop elsewhere.

The RTP location has got to be my favorite of all the DRM Thrift Stores! The staff is always so helpful (shout out to the manager, Justina) and the store is as organized as you could hope for a thrift store. They keep the dressing rooms pretty clean, the prices are good, and they are always stocked up on hidden gems. 10/10 if you’re searching for somewhere to spend an afternoon thrifting

I’m a regular customer. Please, for the love of all that is holy: Change up the music. I’ll lose it if I have to hear “Herman the Bullfrog” by Bruce Frye one more time. Surely the employees must feel the same.

The employees were very sweet and helpful. They have a huge range of clothes and household items for ok prices... I saw a nice 40ish inch flatscreen TV for $25... Lots of good dress shoes, pants, nice guys' clothes and housewares... Way better selection than goodwill...but higher prices. And I hope you like Jesus music! 😂🪕🎶
Oh and organized nicely by size!
Overall a good thrift store! Love to support recovery too💜

All of my items were not put in my bag. Make sure you watch carefully! I bought several bags of items and did not realize some of them were not put in my bag until I got home (90 min away). I called but they said sorry, nothing there.

There are some kitchen items that you can find, new, at Walmart for even cheaper prices. It's not worth it.

Every time I drive up to the donation door, the nicest guys come rushing out to help with friendly smiles. (Even in the 100 degree heat). They never have me lift anything, and I'm in and out quickly. They always ask if I want a receipt and are so grateful for the donations.
The employees inside the store are just as friendly. Love what you all do!
