If I could give this a zero I would. Over the semesters I've been going here for my class books, I have had the worst experiences ever. My second semester I had three classes and needed three different books so I ordered mine with time so I would be ready for when classes would start that spring. I received an email saying my book was ready to be picked up so I went that same day to pick it up. (I had gone to the store on a Tuesday) There was a long line for online pick ups but I waited my turn. When it was finally my turn I gave the girl all the information needed to receive my items she came back and said my books were not ready to come back tomorrow. I thought that was weird considering I had gotten the email that said they were ready to be picked up but I said no worries classes wont start until next week I have time right. I went back the next day because that next day I had gotten another email saying my books were ready so I went back to the store just to get this out of the way. I was in line for about 25 minutes and once again I gave the girl my information and she said the same thing "your books are not ready." I let her know that I had received a second email saying that they were and I need them I was not gonna drive up there again and all she said was "There not ready." I left. That same week I called about 4 times to speak to the manager I emailed them. NOBODY ANSWERS!!!! first day of class came and I let my professors know I was still waiting for my books and they were understanding about it so I felt some weight lifted off my chest. I kept trying to contact the store about my books I even went in person again to try and figure out what was going on with my books. I needed them. While I waited a friend of mine kindly let me borrow hers because she had previously taken the classes I was currently in. I eventually got a call from the store saying my book had been there waiting for me to go get it. I was unable to answer that call because I was working late nights I called them back the next day no answer. I went to the store the next morning but they were closed. They called me back the next day asking me if I wanted my book to be shipped to my home and I said yes and send them my address as they asked through the phone. I never got anything. I called and called and emailed to get a refund and never got an answer. Take your business elsewhere. I still have screenshots of my purchases and demand refunds for all the books I never received.

Service is worse than the dmv, They are hard to contact and don’t always get books before classes start. You would think the schools own bookstore could manage getting their course materials in time.

The telephone is never answered. Messages are not responded to by email or voicemail. Staff will say anything to brush you off if you are in the bookstore. Ordering online is joke, because there is not a timeline on when you will receive your merchandise. I would give 0 stars if Google allowed it.

Nice staff and merchandise. Bad prices on most items. They do offer price matching though.

Ordered a book online and payed $15 for 2 day shipping as I needed it for the first day of class. After receiving an email from them that it had shipped, I then called 3 days later since it had not arrived, learning they had never actually shipped my book.

It's a bookstore you need to go to if you're going to Durham tech, but the people who work there are disinterested and everything is overpriced. Also books sold as "New" with the "New" price are sometimes just "Used".
