I went in to fix a leaking tire. I was advised that a further inspection demonstrated leaking shocks, that needed to be replaced for ~ $500. I then took my BMW to the dealer for a 2nd opinion, who examined the car and found NOTHING wrong......

The store on Duke st but the wrong drain plug in my BMW X5 and stripped out my whole oil pan. When I called the store manager he was upset with me and claimed it couldn’t have been his store. Why in the world would I get underneath my car and mess with my drain plug ?? My car now needs a whole oil pan replacement.
UPDATE: This Firestone brought me back into the garage to help me understand my car and has worked with me to help get my car back to 100%. I am honestly stunned with the empathy and willingness they had toward me.you should feel comfortable coming here knowing they are willing to make things right and take care of your car. Updating to 3 stars and will be a full 5 stars once my car is completed.

They did not give me a new sticker for my window after an oil change.. but not sure if that’s because I come now when the car tells me too versus it. lol other than that they are pretty good with customer and auto services!! So far so good.. did not realize that I have a standing account since 2015.

I went to Firestone to get four new tires for my car, and while I had an appointment, they didn’t have the tires I requested. I left my car there and came back later, which was fine. However, when they called me on Friday morning to tell me my car was ready, they also mentioned that I needed new windshield wipers because they were supposedly streaking. I agreed to the replacement, although when I picked up the car, I noticed the windshield washer fluid was empty, which makes me question whether they truly inspected the wipers as they claimed.
But the real problem started when I drove my car just one mile down the road. It began making a loud scraping noise and sparks were coming from underneath—turns out, some metal piece was dragging from the bottom of my car. I called Firestone, and they insisted this was my fault and that they had never touched the skid plate. However, they offered to have me bring the car back.
I couldn’t drive it back, so I had to call a tow truck to return the car to Firestone. The gentleman at the front desk told me it wasn’t an issue because my vehicle didn’t even need a skid plate. He also told me that I didn’t need to bring the car back and that I could just pull off the part myself. Eventually, the technician just put some zip ties on the piece and sent me on my way. When I asked if this was really a proper fix, the employee laughed at me and said I would need to replace the clips at the dealer.
This is the third time I've had issues with my car after trusting Firestone. The first being a 5-hour wait for a simple inspection, despite having an appointment. I am beyond frustrated with their lack of professionalism and care. I will not be returning. I will also contact corporate office. I think I deserve an explanation and the tow bill reimbursed to me.

Just be aware one of the guys work there always add more services and overcharged you for some services that are not render, and try to fool you around with his make up bs reasonings

Just as I've seen several people say I wouldn't even give them 1 star if it wasn't required! We dropped off a Chrysler 300 2021 to get a front light, 2 tires, and an oil change. We paid almost 700 dollars for all of this work. When we returned to get the vehicle my fiance got in the car to drive away and the car smoked like a train. We turned around immediately! Mind you we noticed the radio station had been changed, there was no more gas in the car, and there was a scratch on the back of the car! !! I asked the young man why the car was smoking and if he put it in the bay first he admitted to not seeing smoke and that he himself drove the car in the bay. Then when asked again he wasn't sure if he drove the car in the bay or not! Fast forward we left the car there for the manager to contact us. Of course nobody did! So I called corporate and made a claim the same day. When I didn't receive a call back I called corporate back and was told there was a a notice in the system someone called and left a voicemail. Mind you the voice mail on my fiances phone is NOT EVEN SET UP! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! They don't have cameras in the bay or outside! These people are horrible! I will not give up until someone pays. If I have to take them to court I will! I hate dishonest people!

Let me start off by saying the only reason they got 1 star is because I had to select something. Had my back breaks serviced by Firestone on 3/17/2024. The technician had a hard time getting the breaks off but we thought everything was taken care of. Fast forward to this month we had to get our front breaks done on the same car. We take it to a different company and they looked at all of the breaks. When checking the back breaks they found that the driver side was completely done, however the passenger side only had one break pad fixed and the other was never replaced. In addition to the pads being the incorrect ones for our car.
Tried to have Fireatone fix the problem but they gave me a hard time. Therefore I called the corporate office and filed a claim, they were going to decide if they would refund our money. They were supposed to follow up by 4/7/2024, no call back. I called back on 4/8/2024 as instructed by the rep if i hadn't heard from someone by Thursday 4/7/204.
Maybe I will hear something on 4/12/2024.
Just wanted to show everyone what the pads looked like that we paid $400 to have replaced that was not completely replaced. Be aware of what is being done to your car as we were fooled to think we had a complete service and we did not.
This is a copy and pasted response so do you really want to fix the problem. As mentioned there is already a claim filed for this incident and I am still awaiting a return call. Therefore, this let's me know that Firestone really does not want to fix the problem and that is fine as I will just report this to the news investigators and just expose this issue to more than a review.

Do not take a fleet vehicle here!! They will mess the car up just for you to bring back to service. This is the 3rd time they’ve done this. Took new 2023 chevy for oil change and state inspection. Next day fans run even when engine off. Now check engine light is on. Guy talking bout there’s some wrong with all fans in Chevy. Truck doesn’t even have 10k miles on it. They will milk the fleet company for money do not take your car there.

The staff was extremely friendly and engaging. I was extremely pleased that you were open on Memorial Day. I hate that you had to be opened on a holiday, but road emergencies happen even then and I'm so pleased they were there when I needed them.

I made an appt late Tuesday evening for the following Wednesday. They had my car fixed and ready for me to pick up that same day!! Awesome customer service and my car is running great!

I needed a flat repair and was turned away by two other Firestones in the morning because I didn't have an appointment. I made a 4pm waiting room appointment and despite open bays the techicians went on lunch and my car sat unserviced for over 40 minutes. I found it unprofessional not to stagger their lunches when they had a waiting customer. It was discovered that the rotors which were replaced a year ago had already gone bad and I was accused of braking too hard despite owning several other vehicles and never having this problem. I trust the techicians are knowledgeable and experienced but this was a poor visit.

If I could give negative stars I would but the lowest here is one star. Brought my car here for a regular oil change I had dropped it off in the morning and I waited until 5 pm to see if they would call me, which it didn't happen then found out that it was going to be ready next day so that oil change is advertising on their window for 29.99 ended up paying almost 200$. The manager "Joshua" (which his customer service is on the floor, man with no matters at all) didn't even explain why the charge was so much, my friend came 2 days prior to get an oil change and she was charge almost 60$ for regular oil I asked him to please give me details on the charge and he refuse to explain. He seems to have a racist problem with Hispanic and Black people I work for an auto parts store for years and I wanted to know what was going on with my car and he wouldn't explain not even one bit. He thinks because I'm a woman I don't know anything about cars boom he is WRONG I am not the only one who has a complaint about him, people who has worked and still work at that location have been treated like trash because the management running the business (and that includes upper management to such as DM's, they're cut with the same scissors) I will spread the word around my friends and family who have been coming here for years to take their business somewhere else due to the fact that he is racist, rude, his customer service sucks and overall they are overcharging people for services that have not been asked and for doing false advertising through their location and their website...........
