I had a horrible experience at this bank. The teller questioned me about why did I have an out of state i.d. He then called a manager and she kept badgering me about how long I've lived here. It was a personal check. Andrea the manager then took my check and said she wouldn't cash it unless she confirmed it with my boss. She didn't give me and explanation at all! I ended up taking my check from her because she went into her office with it!!! Terrible experience.

Editing: bc I realize my initial review was not helpful & I had unnecessary attitude when it’s no one branch workers fault.I don’t know if it’s a corporate issue or what but the past couple years (since first horizon bought the branch from sun trust) when I have the misfortune of needing to do anything there they can never help with anything. I have been putting off switching banks because im moving this winter but I can’t wait till I never have to use a first horizon again. The bank has ridiculous policies.One example is their notary policy, most banks or hospital notaries will offer to use a second witness by asking fellow guest/persons to please act as a second witness. Not at first horizon, they instead turn you away. This is especially frustrating because there are no close banks near by so I had to go pay $30. Mind you the notarization was for a check of $25,000 that *would* have gone to first horizon but now I will be opening this into an account elsewhere.

I w had two account with this sorry excuse for a bank. One account got $1100 overdraft by bills. Well I closed it out. Now a couple a months ago the exact same thing happened $600+ over draft. They have absolutely no overdraft amount and according to the several people I talked to it should not happen. So to First Horizon Change Your Policy. You won’t get rich off of me!

ABOUSTLEY THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! STAFF ALWAYS GOSE OUT OF THERE WAY TO BE HELPFUL ANY WAY THEYCAN,INCLUDING THE BRANCH MANAGER.SHE IS ALWAYS OUT IN THE LOBBY ASKING CUSTOMERS IF SHE MAY HELP THEM IN ANY WAY.TRULY AN EXAMPLE FOR HER EMPLOYEES TO FOLLOW.BY ALL MEANS THEY FOLLLOW HER EXAMPLE!!

Excellent service-- The branch manager goes out of her way to ensure customers' needs are satisfied, & the staff are especially nice & efficient.
