“Bull City Fair Trade is my favorite store in Durham. I don't particularly like browsing through stores just for the sake of it, but I love doing it here. There's so many unique, beautiful and interesting things on sale from all over the world, and staff are always very welcoming and friendly. Some items in the store are on the expensive side, but that makes sense given that they take such great care to sell fair-trade, sustainable products, and that will cost a bit more money. I recommend signing up for their points system - it really pays off fast in the form of 10% or 20% discounts on your next purchase. Wish there were more such stores in the area!”

There is so much to see here. I loved the variety of goods available! There was so much more I wanted to get, but I knew the more delicate items would never make it home safely on the plane. Definitely recommend stopping in for fun and unique gifts for friends, family, or yourself!”

“Hometown Apparel is the place to get anything Durham! We had a guest from out of town and they wanted local gear. I did a search for local t-shirts and found this store. They additionally have caps, stickers, decals, some local foodstuffs and a whole section for babies and children. Great find and might come back myself especially for a Can Opener t-shirt. A must for anyone looking for Durham goods.”
“Chet Miller is a fun store with some unusual and charming things to check out. Parking is easy, which is awesome. I would like to suggest that they get a refrigerator and sell the Parker and Otis egg salad. It would be so much easier to pick up my favorite egg salad from Chet Miller!”

I hope that I will enjoy an ongoing patronage, and friendship with both Amy, and the store. I work in customer service, and am not easily impressed. I cannot say how wonderful my experience was.”
