Consistently rude cashiers who refuse to even speak, along with stocking shortages far predating any current problems, mixed with aisles crammed and mixed like a Walmart with higher prices. The pharmacy staff is the one saving grace -- they're very polite and professional, though actually getting common medicines can still take days to fill. Also, the reviews warning about checking expiration dates are valid, this location in particular, be careful about it because expired items are often mixed in.

Wonderful grocery store! The co-manager Ty-roy always greets everyone so warmly! His kindness makes me a frequent shopper! Also so well organized and clean.

Ran into this store on a quick stop during a road trip. It seemed like every item i picked up was expired. Single serve juices, dog treats, even a twelve pack of beer was almost a month past it's best by date.

Store is fine enough and the people are always friendly, but I sometimes place pickup lunch orders and there have been some issues. Recently placed a pickup order for their new chicken sandwich and instead of your standard chicken sandwich - fried chicken on a bun w/ lettuce/tomato/etc. - I received a toasted footlong on white bread with chunks of grilled chicken and mayo, so basically a hot chicken salad sandwich. Another recent order was for a basic philly cheesesteak - I received an email confirmation that was order was ready to pick up yet somehow this was sent to me without anyone actually seeing or making my order... they were very nice but since I only have so long for lunch the wait was a bit annoying, and then when I got my sandwich it was not made correctly and was also ice cold. Which is not exactly what you want with a philly cheesesteak.
If I did my usual shopping here I'd probably have more nice things to say, but since the majority of my visits have been to pickup a quick lunch sadly the cleanliness/friendliness can only go so far when such massive mistakes are happening that frequently.

I’ve been to Harris Teeter multiple times and consistently encountered issues at the self-checkout stations. Each time, there seems to be no attendant available to assist when a problem arises, leaving customers frustrated and waiting. While the store generally offers quality products, the lack of adequate staffing at self-checkout is a significant inconvenience and disrupts the overall shopping experience. I would appreciate it if Harris Teeter could ensure that these stations are properly monitored to provide the level of service customers expect.

off gas and it took the same amount $42 to fill my truck up. running big a game. Where is my 40 Discount Harris Teeter??

I don’t know what it is about this Harris Teeter, but I always walk out with one or two less items than I intended to buy because the product isn’t on the shelf. I don’t know if this is an issue of the time I go, usually around 10 Saturday mornings or something else, but it is annoying.
This morning, I came by earlier than usual, around 8. Prior to going, I placed an online order for cold cuts and I’m prompted to pick a time and I choose ASAP (15 minutes). I go and the deli is completely closed and doesn’t open until 9AM. And I think, did I misread the time options, but of course, there’s no way to see your past orders on the app, as far as I can tell. So I started another order just to see the times offered, and sure enough, I remembered it correctly.
I’m giving 3 stars because I don’t want to discredit the entire store and having worked previously at HT in the past, I understand how some things may not be stocked but it has happened every single week for the same products. And some of my complaints also have to do with the tech side of HT’s operation, so not the store’s fault but no less irritating.
I’ll occasionally have issues with items not being available at Food Lion or Wegmans, but it’s almost consistently happening at Harris Teeter.
