Arrived and they have no cars. Wasted my day and my money

I had a reservation for 9:30 AM, but upon arrival, there was only one employee handling both the front desk and vehicle cleaning/preparation. Despite having a confirmed reservation, there were about seven people ahead of me, which meant it would have taken several hours before being served.
Additionally, the location had no available cars, and customers were being offered church vans instead of the reserved SUVs. None of this information was communicated beforehand or upon arrival. I waited for over an hour trying to understand the situation and determine what to do next.
This experience was extremely inconvenient and disappointing, especially given that I had a confirmed reservation.

No way this place is a 2.8 rating, they pulled me out of bind when Enterprise Rental refused to rent to me. Friendly, knowledgeable, great guys - just give them a try. I highly recommend , ask for Joe or Julian.

Great experience, although it took two(2) days to finally complete the transaction. They were very friendly and patient.

Terrible customer service. None of the staff knows how to set up rental contracts and the manager is constantly out. They are disorganized and not customer service oriented at all.

Not sure where the bad reviews are coming from. I've rented here multiple times and never experienced poor service. A few times has been busier than expected but it seemed staff were trying to be both quick and attentive to their customers.

Worst customer service around! I made an online reservation yesterday, received a email confirmation and took an expensive Uber from another city into Durham to pick up the car from Hertz.When I arrived, there were not any customers in the store and 2 employees sitting there like they were hanging out with their boys. Neither greeted me properly and when finally acknowledged after standing there for a while, I was assisted by an extremely cold, nonchalant white male with glasses. He quickly informed me that I should not have been able to make a reservation online because they already had 24 reservations already. He gave zero cares about my situation and never said another word, just looked at me. Although upset and disappointed that I could not get a car, I was equally shocked by his poor attitude.Luckily, I remembered that there was an Enterprise right down the street which came to my rescue AND with great customer service. I will be sure to spend my coins at Enterprise from now on!

The branch manager (Drake) is one of the best at what he does. Only place I’ll go for my short and long-term rental needs from now on. Extremely flexible. Quick responses. And great customer service.

The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Will never book with them again. 3 separate parties including my party were sitting in the lobby waiting while staff walked around us and never acknowledged that we were there; never provided updates on our reservations. 0/5 stars.
