Recently ordered an oven from Home Depot. We live in North Carolina. Was told it would be delivered today October, 25th between 1pm and 530 pm. My fiancé took work off in order to be here for the delivery and began calling Home Depot starting at 430. He called a total of 5 times from the span of 430-930. He was put on hold for a total of 200 minutes. At the end of everything (at now 10pm) he spoke with Melissa and still got no information about our delivery. It is very unclear to me why there would be no communication between the delivery folks and the "number to call with questions about your delivery". We are extremely disappointed in this abysmal customer service, and will be returning the oven and never using Home Depot for any product again.

Contractors beware. Not the store to come to if you have a phone sale. This associate has been chatting with these customers for over 15 minutes about their children and family. Meanwhile ive been waiting in line for almost 20 minutes.

Limit the number of shoppers in the store at one time in order to allow reasonable social distancing. This store is being very irresponsible, especially since the nation HD facebook page claims they are limiting the customers in the store during this public health crisis.

This is the second time I went to Home Depot in Durham to purchase a big ticket item to be ignored. The first time was for flooring and today was for a fence. The cashier tried to get someone to help us only for the customer service desk to hang up on her. All we wanted was someone to help us with a few questions. No one ever came outside to help us. I’m not begging nobody to take my money.

Oh Home Depot...where shopping is rarely a pleasure... The Good: It's the closest one to where I live. That's all I got. The Bad: Very disorganized. Checked online for a screen door, said there were 3 in stock. Got to the store, none on the shelf (of course). Talk to the guy there (most helpful HD employee ever actually) and he looked it up and said the computer said there were 10 in stock! (of course none on the shelf available for purchase) Anyway the guy actually went to the back to check receiving, buuuut couldn't find anything. Not surprised. He offered me something else twice the price. Im good thanks though. At least he tried! Which is more than I can say for...let's call him Jerry. I asked Jerry who could help me with getting a key made (as he was leaned up against the key machine as he stared down at his little hand held thing). Without looking up or greeting me or even acknowledging me he just stuck his hand out. I assumed that meant "hand me the key" so I did. Jerry is a real charmer as you can see. So after that he continued to begrudgingly make me a key without ever looking at me or being nice in any way. I asked which keys I could choose from. He told me but wasn't super enthusiastic. Anyway I got my key made but the overall experience was not the best. Hopefully HD will get it together eventually.

DO NOT EVER PURCHASE AN APPLICANCE OR PROTECTION PLAN I purchased a front-load Maytag 5/15/15. I also purchased a 3yr protection plan (which I never do) because the dryer had a lot of digital/computer touch buttons and I know they would give me issues. Home depot provides a (1) yr, so with the 3yr, I was covered for 4 years. Not so. Today, 9/6/19 I was told the protecton plan starts the day of purchase so it has expired. THIS IS NOT WHAT THE SALES ASSOCIATE TOLD me and it doesn't make sense. Why would the protection plan coverage overlap with the 1 yr from Home depot? Because they don't want you to use the plan AND they want you to waste your money. DO NOT PURCHASE ANY APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT

I have never had such service before ever from Home Depot! PJ provided exceptional service. Not only did I leave with what I came in for, but I left with more thanks to PJ's recommendations. He took the time out to explain to myself and boyfriend about the flowers, soil, pots, etc that we need to make our homes more beautiful. We now have the most beautiful flowers and have managed to keep them alive! I highly recommend this location and that you see PJ!

I just went thru a complete hone renovation. I used this Hone Depot for all my appliances and other items as needed. They were always on top of everything. I can't at enough about their care before and after the sale. I purchased one majorly r item at lowes and they messed that up completely. Way to go HD!!!

I generally avoid Home Depot, preferring Lowe's and local places. But this was handy, and I needed something quickly. Service was okay; not very knowledgeable. Selection was okay, not great. Prices were okay, not great. They were out of what I wanted, so I got my second choice. Got home, wasn't quite what I needed. Easy return policy. And I was on my way to Lowe's to get exactly what I needed.

Go in to purchase a washer and dryer. 5 to 6 associates standing around in the Dept and not one person was the least bit interested in helping us. We will stick with Lowes.

Customer service is the rudiest and not helpful at all. Negative vibes all over. I started a kitchen remodel and working with them has been the worst. I decided to just go to Lowes. I can't pay good money with losey support. Time is not important at all to them.

With Hurricane Florence looming, I went to Home Depot to look for some essentials and noticed a bunch of people walking out of the store with generators (they were out of stock earlier today)- I was able to get one (woohoo) but then it turned out the box wouldn't fit in my car (boo). When I got to customer service they flatly told me they could not hold the item I just paid for- not even for me to drive immediately to get our other vehicle . I explained Liam's medical conditi

Ok, now Home Depot does not generally rank very highly on my list of preferred places to shop, but in the home buying process, I've probably been here 15 times. Today was very pleasant as Charles and Wayne both helped me brainstorm on ways to solve a home improvement problem I was encountering. Great job and thank you!!
