My husband and I went to one of the tax consultants at this location recently, and we were very upset with the service we received. For one, the person we worked with would not allow us to do write-offs for our business ( we basically had to beg her and argued with her) because according to her we were not allowed to do this, which we KNOW is incorrect. She also was moving quickly, talking and not paying attention, and made multiple mistakes that led us to owe thousands more than what we actually did. Thank goodness my husband and I are somewhat knowledgeable in this arena. After we argued about doing the write-offs, she told us it would be more money to do so. It took her 5 minutes to do what we asked, and we got charged almost 300 dollars more. Because we were paying attention and she was not, we almost would have had to pay 3k more for our taxes. I called to file a complaint with the manager ( leaving reviews and complaining is not something I normally do, seeing that I have been in customer service 25 years and have a ton of compassion) and he was not helpful at all. I requested some of the money back from what ended up being 500 dollars to prepare our taxes, all he did was apologize ( which is good) but came up with no resolution and basically told me " he could see that person being that way." Anyhow, this was not a pleasant experience, and we will never be using H and R blocks service ever again. If I were you, I would stay clear of this place because you may end up losing money.

Mateena is very knowledgeable and efficient. They took me as a walk-in after another location dropped the ball. From check-in to check-out, it truly was a pleasant and professional experience. I will definitely return for my tax-prep needs!

Russ Cornell is an absolute genius!!! He helped with our tax filing in 2023 when we were filing in three different states as well the federal. Russ and the team at H&R block have an eye for detail and a talent to find a resolution. Many thanks Russ and others, without you, we would have paid a hell of a lot of money to the IRS. We'll be going back to these guys next year.
