I was just in the Durham location today and it was awful! The store was a filthy mess, bathrooms were both out of order. the cutting table worker was very obviously on a personal call on her cell phone. There was a line at the register when we arrived and only one checkout person with lots of other people "working" but no one actually doing anything. I'll order on-line or find another location.

This store was so disorganized, hardly stocked, and the floors were disgusting. It says they are pet friendly but there was broken glass on floor, and just a mess. Not really pet safe. The store also had a weird smell, and I was happy to be out of there! I’m not the type of person to write reviews, but this was just gross.

Every single employee was extraordinarily kind and helpful. It made my whole day brighter. They also had a lovely selection of threads and fabric, as well as great sales.

After having lived in the Minneapolis area where within 20 minutes of my home I had two Joann Super Stores and one regular Joann store maybe I got spoiled. The super stores had an amazing selection of everything. Now that I've moved to NC I still have three regular stores within driving distance with the closest being 30 minutes. The closest store is the worst and the furthest is the best. None of them have a good selection though. They have almost no home decor fabrics which is mostly what I shop for. When I asked if there were any Joann Super Stores in the area they didn't know what I was talking about. A couple weeks ago I drove 45 minutes to the Durham store only to find a sign on the door saying they were closed for the day. Apparently they had a staff shortage. I need a Super Store nearby!

Would have been nice to know they changed their hours. Google still shows they are open until 6 on Sunday but they actually close at 5:00. I don't think any of the closing times on Google are correct for their hours.

Destiny is an absolute angel. Incredibly helpful with our larger order and made our days so much brighter. She didn’t complain and had nothing but great service. Please hope Destiny is working when you go to Joanns. Give this woman a raise!

Love shopping here for my last minute pick up items but the last 3 times I’ve went to this store they were closed at 5 when it says different online. They are extremely understaffed to the point of having to close for an hour just so the two associates working the store can take a lunch break.

closed at 5pm for what reason? at least 12 customers in store trying to rush to get fabric for Halloween costumes and then get to check out. 6 workers that I was able to count so I felt like early closure was not due to being short-staffed. several people frustrated. online hours say “Open until 9pm”. I spent less money because I was rushed. will just go to a michaels and walmart fabric center for the rest of my needs. No one seems to respect maintaining consistent hours anymore? I went in at 4:45 and I was greeted with, “We are closing at 5:00pm” Made me want to turn around- honestly but when I saw all the other customers, I stayed hoping they would at least check us out if we found what we wanted.
