Waited at the paint area for about 30 min and no one showed up. Have attempted to get paint here before and is typically at least a 15 to 20 min wait.

Completely over staffed and under qualified! This store never has its store inventory correct for anything! I always dread coming to this store, but especially today; I waited and am still currently waiting well over half hour to get some help in the paint department. Not impressed... but I'll be back tomorrow for more!

I received my new dryer from Lowe's on Sunday but the delivery guys said they had no room on their truck for my old dryer even though I paid for that service. I have called Lowe's and the delivery company numerous times and my old dryer is still sitting on my lawn! I will never buy anything from Lowe's ever again!

Be careful with Lowes Home Improvement!An order for top-end KitchenAid refrigerator since 3-years ago (7/4/2020) remains undelivered. Understandably, the covid situation created a shortage, but Lowe's kept assuring us it would be delivered once it became available. but when we felt it had taken so long for our peace of mind to request for our money back, Lowe's stated it had no record of our order and payment though Lowe's has for a while copy f receipts in its possesion in addition to payment history with Lowe's credit department We have since being treated a sack of potatoes, disrespected, ignored, marginalized, and villainized as to call the local law enforcement on us as we went to the local store to demand our money. This has been a nightmarish experience. I can't even begin to talk about the time and trouble we have taken uncountable times taking trips to the store, the amount of foods discarded. I can also tell you the many times we took off work because Lowe's called us, sometimes at the last minute, that their vehicle was on its way to deliver, but failed. The only time the vehicle showed up, it had a heavily dented item covered and dressed up as new. Thank goodness we were present to inspect it. What we have also seen clearly is systematic delays, feet-dragging, stop-walling, and passing on the buck. We have also seen a lot of lies from the common staff in the Lowe's store to the so-called Lowe's Executive service dept staff. The un-American attitude and the indifference with which Lowe's has dealt with my family has rendered it a less bonafide institution in the eyes of my family. Needless to say, as long as my family exists, the company Lowe's will always represent a negative, traumatic experience never to be forgotten. This is tantamount to a day-list robbery of a defenseless average American family.We are forever traumatized.

I get the best service here, their staff has low turnover so people remember who you are and take the time t o ask how your projects are going. This location is also very clean and well stocked.

I was in dire need to have an old refrigerator hauled away (for which I paid for on 11/10/2022) it is now 11/22/2022 and the refrigerator has not been removed. On three separate occasions I received text indicating the service was on the way and no one has come. Nor did have they called. I have left several messages with Lowe's customer service only to receive the same reply, "We are so sorry and will reach out to the dispatch center". I would've expected a courtesy call explaining why since I have paid. Now there is a refrigerator in the middle of the floor Thanksgiving Day. SMH

UPDATE: After being on hold for 1 hour and 52 minutes while I joined multiple zoom meetings, someone picked up to transfer me to delivery and instead disconnected me. I then called back and was on the phone for another 30 minutes before I confirmed someone would come install my washer/dryer next Monday. I truly don't know when I have experienced worse customer service.I purchased a washer/dryer combo at the Lowes on Fayetteville Road in South Durham on March 22nd. I had delivery and install scheduled for the following Saturday, March 26th. I had recently moved to Durham and purchased a home. The installers came out on time and due to the fact that I did not have sliders did not install the washer/dryer. They suggested I call the store which I did immediately. I could tell the store was busy and they said they would call me back and get someone back out Sunday, March 27th. They failed to call me and on Wednesday of the following week I called them back and the install was scheduled for April 9th. I waited at the house for the entire window and no one showed up. I next went into the store, where I had a very nice man tell me that for some reason my account kept defaulting back to my Asheville, NC address and he could not switch it to reschedule the install to my Durham, NC address and to call the store and talk to Harrison who handled the scheduling of the contracted installers. I have now hung up twice due to the fact the phone rang each time for over 15 minutes, the third time I got a person who has put me on hold again with no resolution. At this point, I have been on the third call for over 22 minutes just holding. I contacted the online customer service who agreed this was a terrible situation and she was unable to help me since I purchased the appliance in a store. Meanwhile, the washer/dryer is sitting in my living room unable to be used. I guess I will have to pay someone to install it. I would not recommend this store at all. I had a delightful experience at the Morrisville, NC store where I purchased my refrigerator and the install was perfect. On a side note, those installers could not understand why they were unable to install even without sliders.I understand staffing shortages and the "great resignation", and yet the Morrisville Store was able to provide exceptional customer service and not leaving my spending over and hour just trying to get someone on the phone! The one star review is specifically for the South Durham Store on Fayetteville Road.

I tend to come here often out of convenience. I suggest that you know what you're looking for, etc bc associate help is real hit or miss. Some days the associate help is top knotch and well others, not so much.

This is the closet Lowe's to my house and our usual go-to for home and garden items. I like the service here better than at the Home Depot in Chapel Hill, although on occasion the checkout cashiers seemed a little unenthusiastic lately. We've purchased everything from lawn and garden items to a dishwasher and refrigerator here. That being said, not everything the website says is in stock will be in stock when you get there. Best to research online and not purchase until you are in the store.
