Do not trust this place. I bought two front tires from this location three months ago. then went again to an oil change 4 days ago. when I drove back the vehicle after their service, steering wheel started to shake like crazy in the highway. I brought the vehicle back to the location and they said I my front tires are worn and needed to be replaced. when I said I bought these front tires only 3 months ago and still under warranty they said, the tire I bought from them are now at the back of the car. They moved the tires to the back during the oil change! when I ask them to move the new tires back to the front, they refused to do that unless I bought two two tires from them. they went on to say that I can even buy used tires from them if won’t and they don’t care as long as I buy two tires. Stay away from this place!

I brought my vehicle in for new tires and an alignment. They called to tell me the brakes needed to be replaced. I approved the work and I called later in the afternoon to confirm a pickup time (I was going out of town). I arrived at the pickup time they told me, but the vehicle wasn't ready. The brake parts they ordered were not correct and they were waiting on new parts. I requested they forgo the new brakes so I could leave on time. They told me they could not put back on the old brakes but after waiting an hour they magically were able to put the old brakes back on. I requested a discount for the delay and offered to refund me the 'labor cost for the brakes'....they wanted to charge me labor for taking the brakes apart and putting them back together???Fun follow-up: I had to bring the car back because the tires were not properly balanced and the vehicle vibrated on the highway. Once again, I requested a discount. None was given. I was told I'd receive a discount if I brought the car to get the break done.Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.

I have visited this Mr. Tire location regularly over the past few months and just visited them one last time prior to moving out of the area. I have always found the team to be professional and helpful. They have been able to diagnose and fix car troubles that other auto service centers have not been successful in diagnosing and fixing. I have found my interactions the manager to be honest, thoughtful, and communicative.

My car broke down on last Thursday afternoon while at work (the day of the Hedingham shooting in Raleigh--I live close to that area). After failed attempts to jump the battery and waiting 2.5 hours for AAA to arrive check the battery, AAA told me that it wasn't the battery; it was the starter. They suggested that I wait til Friday morning to have it towed to a repair shop. The local Advance Auto suggested the nearby Mr. Tire. I went on the Mr. Tire website and saw that I could make an appointment (which I did--or 7:30am Friday morning--and I noted that the issue was replacing my starter). The website also states that Mr. Tire would beat any competitor's estimate by 5% (I had an estimate from a competitor for approx $650).When I arrived Friday morning, I was told there'd be an extra assessment fee to see what the problem was (I'd already stated what the problem was), and when I got the price--over $760--I mentioned the competitor's estimate and was told that the 5% offer (never clarified in more detail on the website) only applies to tires. I was told that the actual price was cheaper outside the assessment fee, and I explained I shouldn't have had to pay that either, since I clearly stated in the web appointment setup that it was my starter. While I'm grateful for the replacement, I'm very disappointed with those aspects of my experience. I don't feel I should have to pay an assessment fee when a technician and I already explained what the problem was.
