If you carefully comb through the reviews of Hendricks, you'll find a common theme that emerges - fraud. Charges for work that has either not been completed, never needed in the first place, or was done incorrectly. If you confront them about it, they try to brush it under the rug no matter how dangerous the consequences of poorly performed work could be for your vehicle or your safety. I went in for a routine oil change. I knew there was a nail in my rear left tire. I was getting new tires in a few days so I wasn't worried about it. Forgetfully, I agreed to the advisor's recommendation to get my tires rotated. When my service was complete, I went out to the bay to get my car. I had remembered while I was paying that I shouldn't have gotten the tire rotation but paid anyway. I looked at the paperwork and was legitimately surprised they didn't say anything about the nail. They are usually very quick to upsell additional service and parts. I thought they would definitely tire to sell me side tires! The paperwork said everything was fine - including my tread which was obviously well worn. In the bay I happened to glance at that rear left tire and saw the nail sticking out right on the place it's always been. I immediately walked back to the service desk and asked again if they rotated my tires. The advisor looked me straight in the eyes and said "Yes, sir." Impossible - the nail was in the same spot. If the tires were rotated they would be in a different position on the car. The tech admitted they didn't and blamed the issue on a tech (seemingly a recurring problem). He didn't even seem surprised. It felt very much like they do this frequently and I just happened to catch them in their own game. Without any additional questions he voided out my whole order and said management would call me the next day. I left feeling that my trust had been completely broken. How do I know that they did any of my services correctly? How do I know they actually used synthetic oil for my oil change? Or changed my filter? Guess I'll have to check for myself. But I have a feeling I already know the answer. Management never called either. Nevertheless, I won't be going back. And I highly recommend if you choose to go here that you take a second look at the work you're being charged for.

I just bought a new Subaru Solterra from Shalonda R. Calhoun at Subaru Southpoint. This is my 3rd new car purchase from Shalonda R. Calhoun. When I learned that Shalonda had relocated to Durham, I was disappointed. However, Shalonda R. Calhoun made it easy for me to get the car from her. She even delivered the car to me in SC - over 4 hours away. As always, Shalonda R. Calhoun worked with me to find the best vehicle, payments and education available. I cannot give her higher praise. If you're looking for a vehicle, Shalonda R. Calhoun will make it easy and informative no matter where you are.

I'm always pleased with the service I receive (especially as time goes by) from my salesman Vincent McLeod at Hendrick Subaru Southpoint, 5 stars! Now 2 yrs after my purchase of the 2nd vehicle (both with Vincent), I had a flat while traveling in Asheville; needed help getting road hazard protection info to the dealer there. Vincent's cell is in my contacts & though he was just leaving work (and Asheville dealer was also closing), he stayed & got them the needed info. Prestige Subaru in Asheville put my spare on for the night & gave me a loaner the next day while replacing my tires. Kudos to Vincent McLeod in Southpoint and to Chris Lyda in Asheville for their Subaru service!!

On October 16 we brought our Subaru Outback to Hendrick Southpointe Subaru for a scheduled oil change. Since the registration for our Outback was due to be renewed in November, we also asked our service advisor to add a North Carolina State Inspection to our service visit. While we were driving home, we received a call from our service advisor letting us know that our Outback had failed the NC State inspection due to excessive wear on our tires with one front tire being bald on the inside edge. Coincidentally, Hendrick Southpointe Subaru was running a "Buy three, get one for $1" tire sale at this time. While on the phone before we could see our car or the tires in question, we were asked if we wanted to go forward with the purchase of these tires taking advantage of the sale. After discussing it, we decided to hold off on purchase of the new tires and told our service advisor to go ahead with the oil change only. When we got the car home, we visually and by touch inspected our tires. None of them were bald or even significantly worn. Still, we had a failed NC State inspection which meant that we could not drive our car until that was resolved. We found another Subaru dealer not too far away who had our tires in stock and could replace them and perform an alignment for us the next day, October 17. As part of the check-in process, an employee gave our tires a visual inspection and told us that, in his opinion, they did not need to be replaced. We all agreed that the mechanic with the most experience with tires would check them over and confirm whether they needed to be replaced. We asked the second dealership if they would perform a NC State Inspection on our car after checking or replacing our tires. After a few hours, we got a call that our alignment was complete and our car passed State inspection without needing to replace our tires. We also received written documentation of the exact level of wear on each of our four tires. That afternoon, we received an unsolicited text message from Hendrick Southpointe Subaru asking us to please contact them with any feedback on our service appointment BEFORE we posted any reviews to social media. We responded that we had barely avoided being the victims of fraud from Hendrick Southpointe Subaru and that we would be reporting the incident to the Better Business Bureau. On October 18, we received an email from the customer service manager at Hendrick Southpointe Subaru. In this email, he referenced the service we had received on October 17 (not October 16 when the service actually took place) and attaching photos the mechanic had taken of our tires. The photos definitely showed well worn tires, but there was no timestamp or any identifying information to prove that these photos were taken of our car on the date of service. We were not offered this "visual proof" or any other documentation of wear on the day of our service when we picked up our vehicle. If you read through the one-star reviews of this dealership, you will discover that this is not the only instance of attempted fraud that has been reported. Fortunately, we did not suffer any real harm from this incident and, in the process, have found a responsive and trusted new dealership where we will be doing all of our business going forward.

I knew what I wanted and what I was willing to pay. The sales person Trevor was very helpful, responsive and professional. He worked with me providing all the details I requested and introduced me to his manager Will who I finalized pricing with. They made the process very easy and seamless. Trevor did a great job explaining all the features of the car ensuring my mother in laws was comfortable with everything. Both Will and Trevor were great to work with. I would highly recommend buying your next car from this dealership!

Very poor service center for Sprinters. Did not notice my front wheels were wearing down the inside tread of tires. I had to point it out and request an alignment and tire rotation after 30,000 miles. Broke the valve stem on read inside dual tire when performing the tire rotation and alignment. They did not tell me they broke the valve stem, which I found during a subsequent trip. Scheduled to replace valve stem and after 2-1/2 hour wait was told they did not have the part in stock. This dealer and service center is the WORST!!

Only a 1 because a 0 isn't possible. Didn't want to cover a simple issue reported under warranty. They take 3 plus hours for an oil change. Cancel your appointment due to possible incliment weather that never happens (much like all of NC). I only got an oil change package because being a new vehicle I know they wouldn't cover anything if I did it myself. After a 3.5 hour oil change they drove my truck in spewing oil all over the floor. Luckily I pointed it out to them before jumping in and taking off. Apparently scooter back there put the wrong filter on or didn't tighten it. First thing you should check if you have half a brain and all you do is oil changes all day long. I've replied to at least 8 emails telling these people not to contact me and now I get a phone call at 4pm on a Saturday informing me that I need an oil change (thanks onstar tracking me that I don't have or pay for) even though I haven't gone to them in 3-4 years? I've given very poor feedback in all the emails and sat down with the department manager. Apparently they just don't listen. FYI, I still have issues with my power folding mirror that had the issue the day I picked it up, but since you didn't know exactly what the problem was, I was told "we can't just throw parts at it to fix it." It was just a mirror motor under warranty. Anyhow, they can't do simple paperwork or have enough care to read one of many emails or poor reviews so I wouldn't recommend this location. Chevrolet trucks are still good themselves, just not from Hendrick.

Everyone at Hendrick Chevrolet at Southpoint went above and beyond on getting my car repaired. Tony Holmes ( General Manager) Austin Strickland (Service Manager) and Carlos Aragao (Sales) listened to my concerns and corrected the issue !

Had great service experience with Angi. Loaner car was ready as promised, communications were excellent, and service was provided with a smile and user friendly demeanor. Explanations were clear and understandable. Subaru makes a very good car…the service end makes be a committed Subaru owner and a very satisfied customer.

From the buying experience to the great service department this has been an exceptional service center. Especially when I had a flat tire and I was given excellent customer service from Kassandra to service my car immediately and she made my day. Thank you

Whatever you do, don't buy the warranty!!! ITS A SCAM!!! Not only is it a scam, but when you call to actually use the warranty, you get passed around and no one calls you back! I'm in another state now, and my vehicle needs repairs. Their response was for me to bring it in! Im in another state, 8hrs away, my vehicle is broke down and how do you think I should bring it in?????? They had no problem taking my money, but honoring the warranty seems to be a bit troublesome!
