Called to ask about how long they hold a product if it’s purchased online for pick up at their store as I live hours away from this store. Just to note this is the only store remotely close to me. I just wanted to make sure that it wasn’t held for just a few hours before my order would be canceled, refunded and the item returned to the shelf bc it’s going to take me a bit to drive there. John was less than helpful. I explained that I wanted to buy it online myself for pick up at their location that I just wanted to know how long I had to pick it up. I explained that if I had ordered it online I wouldn’t get my order until mid July which is why I called to inquire. He didn’t fully understand what I was trying to say initially and said they don’t do holds bc “it’s not a warehouse.” I again explained that I was not asking him to hold anything that I was going to purchase it online for them to go pull off the shelf for me for pick up. I just wanted to know if I didn’t get there within closing if my order would be canceled, refunded and the product put back on the shelf. He then tried to order it online for me to ship it to my house. I again said no that’s not what I’m asking and explained again. By the time that he did understand, he got flustered and just told me to just order it online myself to ship to my home because “it would just be faster that way.” Clearly that is a lie because I will not get the item I want until July. Never answered my question. At any rate, John should find another job that is not in retail and maybe less busy of an environment. He lacks patience, has zero listening skills and his customers service overall is very lacking. I would rather do without than to have anything to do with this location based on how they treat their customers.

Had the best experience stroller shopping here! Katie Stoffel was incredibly knowledgeable and very positive, putting us at ease as new parents who knew nothing about strollers and car seats before coming in. We left with the perfect stroller picked out to add to our baby registry and will be back to shop again.

Very disappointed , I was expecting my grandkids furniture and the delivery was pushed like 2 weeks over because a night stand ead not at the delivery center with the rest of order. My grandkids moved to their new house and they are sleeping on their new mattress since they moved waiting on their bedroom furniture. I Call the store to see if it was possible to deliver the night stand to the store to get their beds and dresser delivered to their home and there was no way to make the change.

I have been buying from PBK for years!! I just received a lunchbox insert. The quality is NOTHING like it used to be. I also ordered a bookbag. It smelled of heavy chemicals. So disappointing

I ordered a Bed on August 30th (and was charged right after I ordered it); 36 days later and no one from the PB store (Durham, Southpoint) can tell me where it is, correction, where 1/2 of it is.I called them three times over the last few weeks to get updates as they don't call you to provide updates, even after you speak with them and they say they will and have noted their internal computer system files.Oh and make sure not to interupt, at all, or you'll get the riot act and a detailed account of your offenses lol.Paying $800 for a toddler bed you expect to get good service from a premium company like PB.You dont expect to have to call three different numbers (Store, Customer Service and Corporate) to get updates because no one at this store takes notes on your previous calls or can provide any real update unless you call 'Customer Service' because the Store physically cannot do that on your behalf, even though the order was to be delivered to and picked up from the STORE.I called Customer Service and unfortunately they couldn't help me either, however, they were so much nicer to speak with on the phone compared to this store.Shout out to Danielle at Customer Service who was very nice and helped me process my cancellation.In summation, I guess if you like to pay a Premium for subpar service than this is your STORE.

VERY POOR QUALITY FOR THE PRICE! I bought my child the entire mackenzie set with her name for almost $400 and it started falling apart the first day she used it. Also the monogram stitching is terrible and coming apart after ONE DAY of use.

Worst customer service ever, ship my package to wrong address , blame me for it , will not refund my package I never got ! I’ll never shop here again ever, beware , they will take your money , they do not care if you get your package or not !

I ordered a bed on 2/21/23. It was supposed to be delivered on April 27 and did not arrive. I had another item arriving later that week and asked them to deliver with that item. I was supposed to receive a call back about that. Nobody called. The delivery was rescheduled for today, 5/13/23. Only half of the bed arrived, the other half was not on the truck. I was told to fill out a form saying I was unsatisfied with the delivery and someone would call within 5 minutes. No one called. The delivery guy put me on the phone with his supervisor who said someone would call within.5 minutes. No one called. I have no confirmation that the piece was not delivered and have been given no recourse. This is absurd.

Do not buy anything that needs “custom made,” We purchased a nursery chair which the fiber was customized for our baby girl last year, and it was broken during Christmas. The manufacturer's staff came to take it away and reorder a new one for us, and everything was good. Still, we have been waiting for five months now, my husband stayed at home for the new chair delivery all day, but the delivery people called my husband and said it was passed five clocks, so they could not deliver, Let us call the customer service. The service phone line must wait an hour to speak to someone. And we are just so disappointed! How could a good brand name do that to its customers?

I've never had the best customer service experience at this location however it's the closest to us and therefore have been on many occasions. I have 4 small children and we only ever purchase PBK bedding and school backpacks for the quality and fun prints/designs. Well that all ends today sadly. I had popped in this afternoon to pick out 4 new sets of sheets for my children and while I was browsing my 4yo brought me a book and asked me to read it. To my shock and horror it was a book on transgenger children. I immediately took it away and then noticed an entire shelf full of inappropriate reading material geared towards small children. I am appalled!!! I will NEVER be back, nor will I ever shop at PB again! You all have lost your flipping minds. Crate and Barrel here we come!

Everyone is always helpful and friendly-I've never had a negative in store experience in the many years of going here. They have a great selection for different age groups but I do wish there was more in stock accessories. I have heard of negative situations when it comes to furniture delivery but when we ordered a bunk bed from them, we were pleasantly surprised with the delivery time and set up. Overall, great in store customer service and I've only had positive experiences with customer service through online support.

I’ve had the most disappointing experience with PBK and I’m still going through it. I ordered a dresser and bed for my son in Aug and I received the dresser no problem, however, we are missing part of the bed. The delivery crew have made 2 attempts to deliver but they keep bringing the incorrect pieces we need to assemble the bed. The customer service is an absolute joke. I asked to speak with management and the woman sent me to furniture delivery! Not to mention I’ve literally spent hours on hold waiting to speak with someone. No one knows what’s going on with your orders! Pass the buck!! There is NO customer service with this company. I’ve ordered several items and I’ve spent a lot of money in the past with no issues but I’m at my wits end. I just want my sons bed!!!!!

Lori was knowledgable, helpful and spent quite a bit of time with my husband and I. We had such a great experience that we signed up for a virtual design appointment. There was a technical error and the system lost our appointment. I called the store and the manager, Morgan, went above and beyond to solve the dilemma and still help us out. Fantastic experience. Highly recommend this store and the excellent team.
