10+ starts. Had a great experience shopping for scrubs today. Keyana helped me, gave me her honest opinion, and it was much appreciated. She was super friendly, and made me feel confident! This store always has what I’m looking for. I couldn’t have had a better experience.

The staff are all so helpful and friendly. Noni helped me find scrubs that fit and took the time to place an order for a size they didn’t have in stock. They keep the store clean and organized it was so easy to find what I needed.

Subject: Disheartening Experience at Scrubs and Beyond
Dear Scrubs and Beyond Management,
I am reaching out to express my profound frustration regarding my experience at your Scrubs and Beyond location on Saturday, October 5th. I arrived at approximately 11:30 AM to find the store locked and the lights off, despite the posted hours indicating it should be open from 10 AM to 6 PM. My attempts to contact the store by phone were unsuccessful, as no one answered.
While I was waiting, another customer arrived and inquired about the store's hours, mentioning she needed to pick up an order. In an effort to resolve the situation, I called the corporate office and spoke to an employee who, unfortunately, stated that there was nothing he could do to assist me. Around 12:13 PM, I observed a woman driving aggressively into the parking lot with her music blaring. She entered the store and locked the door behind her, adding to my confusion and frustration.
After this incident, I returned to the store, where I found another waiting customer. I knocked on the door, but no one answered. The other patron then called the store, only to encounter a very rude associate who provided no information about when the store would open. At this point, it was nearing 12:25PM. The associate's dismissive response, which included telling the customer to "call corporate" before hanging up, was particularly disheartening.
As more customers gathered, I knocked on the door again, and by this time, three additional people were waiting outside. Another patron made yet another call to the store, and the same associate answered, remaining rude and stating she needed to cash out the register. Frustrated, I called corporate again and spoke with Lanetha, who reiterated that there was nothing she could do, other than pass my concerns along to the district manager. This lack of accountability from corporate is troubling.
Lanetha later reached out to the store and confirmed that the employee responsible for opening had not shown up and that it would take another ten minutes to open—at which point it was already 12:35 PM. She also insisted it wasn't her fault. Shortly thereafter, an employee from a neighboring store approached us and confirmed that this location has a history of being closed for days, leaving customers waiting outside.
After nearly 20 minutes of waiting, the store finally opened its doors, but not a single apology was offered for the inconvenience. I spent almost an hour waiting for the store to open, only to be met with rudeness and a lack of professionalism.
As a long-time customer of Scrubs and Beyond, I am deeply disappointed by both the service I received and the apparent lack of oversight from corporate. It raises serious concerns about how a store can remain closed for extended periods without anyone at corporate being aware. As an employee of a major hospital corporation, I feel compelled to inform my colleagues about the treatment I received, especially since this is the only scrub store in Durham, North Carolina. Many customers travel significant distances to visit this location, and it is unacceptable for them to face closures and unprofessionalism.
Furthermore, it is perplexing that a district manager does not conduct surprise visits to ensure the store operates effectively. I have noticed similar complaints in other reviews, which suggest a pattern of neglect in customer service, with responses that seem more focused on maintaining a five-star rating than addressing the genuine concerns of customers.
All that was needed was a simple apology from the associate for the inconvenience caused. It is high time for this location to address these issues and prioritize customer satisfaction.

No stars for me at all. There were no explanation about 2 shipments, so I didn't know about 2nd shipment which includes one pants. Only response I got was that there is weather delay on shipping which is understandable if they told me that there is going to be 2 shipments. Which was never told to me on email. The guy who was on the chat, Thomas was like more you will get it when you get it attitude. The point of this was 2 shipments should be explained to me from the start not when I ask about missing a item.

It’s Monday, September 9th, 2024, and nobody was here to open the store at 10am which is when the store is supposed to open. It’s now 11:46am, nobody is still here to open the store. 7 people so far have come, waited, and left. I’m still waiting because I need a shirt. Hopefully someone comes soon. 1 star for not being here or leaving a sign to let customers know about why the store isn’t open. Otherwise, when the store Is open, it’s great.

Not sure what was going on but online it said they open at 10a, I arrived 30mins after 10 and the doors were locked. I proceeded to wait another 30mins ( Now sitting at 11a ) and nobody was in store to open the door for several customers who were waiting. I also called several times, no response. I double checked that I was reading the store hours correctly & both online and the front door to the store said the hours were 10a-8p. If needing to open later in the day, there should be some sort of sign for customers trying to purchase/shop in you alls store.

I visited the store today at 3 PM during business hours and the doors were locked. There was an employee inside counting money while ignoring my knocks. There were no signs posted on the door.

Gem was the BEST! We recently moved here and I started work within 2 weeks and needed a full week of scrubs at least. Gem helped me figure out favorite brand and fabrics, even got me the pants I wanted from the Charlotte store when the Durham location was out. She is one in a MILLION!

Cathy provided an excellent customer experience today! My fellow classmate and I were in need of scrubs asap for our Pinning Ceremony. Cathy was able to locate exactly what we needed, set up the time-sensitive shipping, and provide us with tracking numbers. I wish I could give 6 stars.

Imani was EXTREMELY helpful with my purchase today! I was buying scrubs that are my favorite brand but the brand was getting rid of the style and color I needed so Imani called MULTIPLE stores across the east coast to ensure I got every single pair I needed. From the time we walked in, we were treated so well and had our questions answered. Because of Imani, I’ll now have my favorite scrubs in time for my new job even though the brand is getting rid of the design and Scrubs and Beyond can’t order them anymore. She really treated me like aqueen!! She needs a raise!!!!

Amazing customer service! Helped me pick out styles and colors as well as ordering the ones they didn't have in store straight to my front door! The scrubs are high quality and they carry a bunch of brands and colors. This is the only place I buy my scrubs from now!

Had to much fun last year so I out grew my scrubs. So out with the old in with the new. I was greeted and helped by Mrs. Cathy. She helped me find all the correct sizes I was looking for. She is amazing and very knowledgeable with the brands. This is and should be your go to for scrubs.

Karen is the absolute BEST! When they didn't have my size she called around to different stores even ones out of state to have them shipped to me. Ask for KAREN she is awesome!??
