The alterations are on point, but the cleaning is questionable. I've taken a few things there with stains, understanding that the stains may not come out. Upon pickup, the clerk confirms the stains came out, but they didn't. She has even invited me to bring them back, admitting that she did not realize stain did not come out, has re-done them, then told me, AGAIN, the stains came out. When I get the items home, stains still there. I'm fine with them not being able to remove stains, b/c that happens, but why lie?

I finally went back after a few years to see if there was improvement. Ordered catfish and scallops. I got 2 pieces of catfish and FOUR scallops. These people should be ashamed of themselves. NEVER going back. And the scallops were fishy/old tasting.

I was a long time customer until they started messing my clothes up. When I showed them that my shirt was faded and and my pants had lint balls all over it they tried to blame it on me. They were not willing to fix my clothes nor compensate me for the damages they caused.

Tried this place because it was local, had to get a number of suits dry cleaned. The lady was very sweet working here and was willing to help. She mentioned she could get my suits dry cleaned in a certain time frame. The cost was reasonable as well, about $10.99 per two piece suit. Sadly she wasn't able to do an alteration I needed done which was a bummer, since I have to find someone to do quality work on a suit. Good local business!

I've been using SD Cleaners for around a year and a half, dropping off around 20 shirts and 10 pants per month. On my most recent to pick up clothes, she pulls a pair of my pants from the back and points out a large tear. The pants are relatively new, and they were in great condition when I dropped them off. She told me that the pants were too damaged to be cleaned. I agreed, but I pointed out that the pants were not in that condition when I dropped them off. She blamed the damage on me. It turns out that they have no policy on damaged clothes. Thus, I am out $200 for pants. Even though I am a regular customer, coming in every week, there was nothing that she would do. She only laughed when I told her that she would be losing my business. I would recommend steering clear of SD Cleaners!

Would give ZERO starts if I could. I recently moved into the area so I needed a new dry cleaners. I used my previous dry cleaner for 6 years. Not ONCE did they ever damage my clothing. SD Cleaners ruined two of my white suit shirts the very first time I tried them out. Now, I understand that these things happen sometimes, but they took absolutely ZERO responsibility for basically burning these yellow stains into my shirt. They blamed it on me saying that the stains were there when I brought them in. I even asked how would one even get these spread out burned yellow looking stains and she had no answer. It was obviously from a dry cleaning machine. I explained that I just literally moved within 100 yards of the store. I bought my first home so I am going to be here for a while. This was there opportunity to keep me as a customer for life if they handled this correctly. She gave ZERO shits. Not even a discount or something. Totally didn't care that I said I won't come back here anymore. So, beware. If they ruin your clothes they are going to blame you and take ZERO responsibility. Buh-bye

OK kind of a long story here but bear with me to see the depths of un-professionalism and discourtesy this business has for its customers. So on a random weekend, I took a bunch of clothes here to dry clean. I gave in two blazers, three pairs of dress pants, and a blouse. The bill came out to about $45, which wasn't terrible. I received my clothes back in the quoted timeline. However, I unfortunately did not receive them back in the same condition. Although I didn't know it at the time of pickup, one of the pants that I had given them was returned to me with the zipper broken. Oh, and I was unaware of this until the morning of my job interview when I took the plastic cover off and pulled the pants on and was unable to zip it up. What a nightmare!! But don't worry, it gets worse.... I took the zip-less pants back to the dry cleaners the following weekend and I calmly explained the situation to the same lady I had been working with: I had given the pants to be dry cleaned, they were returned dry cleaned but with the zipper broken, and now I just wanted the zipper fixed. She listened to me, then tested the zipper (as if I were lying about it), and then stated "sometimes zippers break." I was extremely confused by that statement. Then she proceeded to explain that "sometimes zippers break on pants when you have them and you have to fix them." So that's when I realized that she was trying to tell me that I had broken the zipper. So I explained it again: I had given the pants to be dry cleaned WITH THE ZIPPER INTACT (and I am 1000% certain of this because I was planning to wear them to an interview and had made sure of this before giving it to her), they were returned dry cleaned but WITH THE ZIPPER BROKEN, and I now I just wanted the ZIPPER FIXED. So she kind of laughs at me (how extremely rude and unprofessional!) and takes the pants, rings something up, and says "OK that will be $14." That's when I lost my patience. I told her that there was NO WAY that I was paying for a zipper that they broke and that they would have to fix it for free. I believe she said something to the effect of: "Okay, this time its free but next time we charge you." I about LOST IT. I told her that if they hadn't broken the zipper to begin with, I wouldn't have to bring it back to be fixed.I was so furious with her whole attitude about the situation that I'm sure steam was coming out of my ears by that point. She reluctantly agrees to fix the zipper for free but then asks me, "Do you want it dry cleaned?" implying that I should pay for the dry clean again. I told her I just wanted the zipper fixed and for the pants to be returned to me, nothing further. She agreed and quoted me a timeline. Here comes the best part. So the day she said the pants would be ready comes and goes (it was a Wednesday I believe). I call the store on Thursday during normal business hours and the phone rings and rings and rings and rings......basically she was ignoring my call and I got no response. Just to check in, I decided to stop by the store on my way home that day. What do you know, they're open (and answering calls)! I ask the lady if my pants are ready, she finds them and gives them over to me. I test the zipper and it works just fine. I thanked her and left. Sorry for the long story but I wanted to make sure I conveyed it in its entirety to show how rude and unprofessional this business is - not owning up to their mistake, trying to ignore the problem, and then infantalizing me. Based on this experience, I will never, ever do business with them again. Think twice before you walk through those doors and don't be fooled by the smiling lady at the front desk.
