SecurCare Self Storage and their management, particularly at Hwy 55 are so professional and go beyond to satisfy their customers. As a NCCU Athletics Hall of Fame athlete and WNBA Detroit Shock FA 2000, they assist with all my business and personal goals, relating to storage facilities and parking. I am a journalist and mental healthprofessional. Additionally, I am licensed with the State of North Carolina, and it requires that I do business with exclusively exceptional businesses. Frequent rental increases. "Climate controlled" storage thermostat said 90 last time I was in the building. Management allows some crappy awful wanna be garage band to practice in the climate controlled building so if you want to access your belongings you have to endure the audio assault of 1000 dying cats echoing through the metal walls instead of being able to retrieve your items in a peaceful manner from a professionally maintained facility.

Property manager was very knowledgeable and suggested the best option for my storage needs. I also learned of other potential uses for storage units. Grounds are well kept and secure. Reasonable rates

Terrible. Waste of $$. They have gone up on rent since I’ve had the unit with no reason. Today, I went to my unit to get some things, and when I returned a few hours later to put my things up, I couldn’t access the premises. There was no correspondence informing consumers of this!!!!! I called the customer care number, and the lady was no help. No one was available. No manager or anyone on call. I was told I needed to return in the morning?!! Where am I suppose to put these large items? Ludicrous! Why am I paying this money and insurance? Very inconveniencing and I will be canceling my unit!! Also terrible entrance if you have a trailer.

Finally gave in and got myself a storage unit! Kat was super helpful and polite! I really felt like she cared about all my questions being answered. It also was very clean and smelled fresh! Thanks Kat!

I had a storage unit for almost 3 years with SecurCare. While the management certainly has changed, it was never explained to me that my monthly storage unit cost for a temperature control unit would increase steadily over time. It’s something I accepted, but I wish I knew when I first signed. Additionally, as I just moved my items out, some of my boxes had significant mold growth. The current team stated that the AC unit was out for some time before they started working there, so I don’t blame them. I am a bit frustrated with SecurCare for not notifying tenants, or giving us a discount because we pay extra for temperature controlled units to prevent this from happening. I included photos of the mold growth on my items as I moved them out.

I recently rented a storage space and found the process to be easy and pleasant. Paul was the staff member who made it such an easy experience. He was professional and cordial, and very patient in answering all my questions. I would enthusiastically recommend the facility and Paul to anyone who is in need of storage space.

Lot is very secure. However I booked online and the code I was giving does not work. I reached out to the local office and was giving a code that is someone else’s, but it does work. I called and left VM and sent an email and have not heard back from anyone.

Nowadays it's nice to actually talk to someone on the phone that puts the customer first and is actually helpful. That was my experience with SecurCare. Thanks for still caring about your customers!
