My family and I worked with Susan to move across states and we were very pleased with the service we received. Susan was incredibly responsive and made great use of our time when we came down to visit. She was easy to communicate with and did a great job walking us through the nuances of purchasing a home in North Carolina in a competitive market. Being an out of state seller, I needed a knowledgeable, reliable, personable and skilled realtor as I wasn't around. Susan fit the bill. I am very glad that I chose her as she made the process of selling a house for someone living out of state very easy and stress free. In addition the people she recommended for taking care of my house (removing my furniture, staging, cleaning, ...) prior to putting it on the market were also great professionals. She will be the first and only realtor I will call if/when I go back to the triangle area. I strongly recommend her services.

Susan was a great choice for a realtor. I started looking for my first home in October 2020. She was always quick to set up appointments for showings and accommodate my schedule. Once I ended up going in to the lengthy process of buying a new construction home, she continued to support me, attend my appointments with the builder, and take the lead when issues arose throughout the process. I would highly recommend her!

I highly recommend Susan Hertz for all of your real estate needs. She was my seller's agent in 2015, and my southwest Durham home sold in 24 hours! She also quickly sold my now-husband's home in Hillsborough in 2014. Susan most recently represented us while searching for and purchasing our new home in Durham beginning in late November 2020. Due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, we had to purchase our home in Durham while still living in Austin, Texas, and we knew we could trust Susan to act conscientiously on our behalf to visit potential properties, provide video walk-throughs, and provide honest feedback. She has over 30 years of experience in the area, and knows these neighborhoods like the back of her hand. Despite the hot market, she is always calm, measured, and she really took time to learn our tastes and priorities. She was very responsive, and a strong negotiator to boot. Susan Hertz was fabulous to work with when selling my husband's house earlier this year. She was super responsive and on top of things - basically always available via text or phone for advice (even about small stuff like shower curtain choice the night before photos!!) and connected us with a very affordable stager who made the place look great. We felt like her advice for listing time frame, price, and what to do to get the house ready were all right on - we felt like she recommended the right changes without pushing anything extra. Susan gave us realistic expectations given the market and limited available comparisons. We chose a more conservative listing price, but ended up with lots of offers well over that amount, we think due to this strategy! In addition to all this, she's a super likable person. She gives you advice and info based on her extensive experience but is never pushy and the choice is ultimately up to you. I'm so glad we worked with Susan and would definitely work with her again!

Everything went very smoothly and I couldn't be more pleased with Susan as a realtor. She probably showed me about 30-40 residences and never seemed to lose her patience or tire easily. She also has a wealth of knowledge and resources at her fingertips. Susan walked me through the process of buying and selling and answered all my questions thoroughly. She definitely goes above and beyond and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell property. Although I don't plan to move again, know that if I do I will never use another broker as long as Susan is available. Susan acted as both Listing Agent and Buyer's Agent when I sold my townhome and bought a condo in early 2018. This is the second time I used Susan as she also acted as Listing and Buyer's Agent 12 years ago when I sold another condo and purchased the townhome I am about to move from. Both times she was outstanding in every way!

Susan was referred to me by a friend when I needed to sell by house in Durham NC, after moving to New Orleans. I can't say enough great things about the experience. I had previously spoken to another broker, who had me convinced that I needed to invest money in upgrading certain parts of the house before putting it on the market -- a difficult thing to do from afar. in contrast, Susan was immediately positive about the house and its attributes, and suggested putting the house on the market immediately - as is- to take advantage of a limited market. So I took her advice, and had 6 offers in one day and ended up selling the house for $30K over the listing price. After the negative experience I had with the first broker, working with Susan was a breeze. I was able to sell the house without coming back to Durham at all!! She communicated well and was an absolutely DREAM to work with. I can't say enough good things about her!!!!
