We were dealing with an HOA violation of faded paint not matching original paint. James who works there worked 3 times over to make sure we got a paint match. I would go home test it then would come back and he would fix what the paint needed to make it match. We barely had a sample to match but we had a base and he worked hard. Thank you James I truly appreciate you taking the time to help and understand HOA issues. Will add updated photo when paint dries.

I've been doing a home project and have visited 4 Durham, NC Sherwin-Williams locations recently because my husband insists on Sherwin-Williams products. The employees in EVERY single store were super helpful, knowledgeable, and treated me as if I was the only customer in the store. I have worked with James on Hwy 70, Stephanie at RTP and Jackie on Hillsborough Rd. All were awesome!

In the past week, I've gone into this store 2x for paint and supplies. Always a wonderful experience. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and quick and professional with my orders. They had the correct answers to all my questions, and really good advice. Easily 5 stars. If I lived closer, they would be my 'go-to' store. Parking was plentiful, and they even helped me out to my car with the 5 gallon bucket of paint. Can't say enough good things about this store!

I had been going there fairly regularly since moving to the area in January 2020 and always had phenomenal service from very knowledgeable and super helpful associates. Unfortunately last week that experience was well and truly smashed. I asked when the next sale might be so I could buy at the same price I'd bought it at last year (I'd had a contractor buying my paint there for me so far this year). "No our paint has never been that price" ..."nope never. No you didn't buy it at that price. It's never been that price" Me: If you want to check transactions on my SW account you'll see I did. Him: *cough splutter cough* well I doubt it will ever be that price again. We don't sell paint at that price. Me: okayyyyy. In which case can I just get a tester in x color. I motion the size of the can with my hands. Him: We don't sell testers. There's a paint shortage. Me: I bought a tester here last week. Him: No you didn't. If you bought it anywhere it was another store, but you did NOT buy it here. Me: Look at my account. I bought a tester (motion again with my hands) here last week. It was x color and it was quart size. Him: That's a quart then. That's not a tester. You said a tester. We don't sell testers. Me: okayyyy - all I know is that last week I asked for a tester, and that's what the guy gave me. I mean jeez. Go ahead and wear a shirt saying you hate all women and don't want them shopping at your store, because that was basically his entire attitude. I walked out and went straight to Lowes - told them the SW colors I wanted, and bought hundreds of dollars worth of paint there instead. And for much much cheaper than the SW colors I was trying to buy at SW. So I guess I actually owe him thanks for saving me a ton of money!

I really appreciate the team here! I come in often working on some project. They are always willing to assist and accommodate any time. Yesterday I went in and was not clear on my order, Jesse right way said he would fix the price with no issues. I have to be honest I teapot appreciate this, I am already rushing coming in, unsure what I am looking for and looking for assistance without really asking for it. He helped me before to figure out the paint for inside our home and I am still in love with agreeable gray. Now he is assisting me with yet another milestone our baby girls room. Just recently I came in looking to fix a cabinet and revamp it. I think it came out fabulous and had to share. Thank you team for all you do!!
