The North Durham store is always orderly and well-stocked with office and home office essentials, which are easy to find because of the well-marked aisles. I've never had a problem with the prices. Even if some things are a bit cheaper at Walmart, who needs the hassle, disorganization and long checkout lines? The services at Staples, such as printing, binding, banners, and the return service of major online retailers are very convenient, and available nowhere else in my area. The tech dept has a friendly, patient and knowledgeable associate. I like the rewards program and I love my North Durham Staples. The store is very valuable in this part of Durham.

I showed up in the later evening on a Saturday to find a printer cartridge. I ended up buying a whole set after realizing the benefit of getting rid of the old ones and replacing with the new ones for better quality. The manager also was able to lower the price because of seeing a lower price online so I took the online price while I was in the store. They were so helpful!

Durham, NC store employees were attentive, helpful and pleasant, not just to myself, but with the all the customers in the store on the 2 times I visited. Would definitely shop at this location again if I lived in the area.

In 2024 we used this store to drop off Amazon returns. Never again. They’ve changed the process for doing so in such a way that it takes much longer to make an Amazon return.
The store seems understaffed.

This Staples location is always clean and well organized. I have asked for help from the staff fairly often and have been pleased with the friendliness and competence they displayed.

Went to Staples to purchase ink cartridges for my printer.
Staples was well stocked. Got ink cartridges I needed.
Staff at Staples outstanding as usual.
Always helpful, knowledgeable and most important very kind.
Got to try erasable ink pens…. which I purchased. Thanks Staples.

Store hours states they open at 8am, came one morning multiple people outside waiting and store is closed. 8:30 came still no one inside store. Workers don’t know what they are doing I was overcharged for mailing an envelope. They keyed it in as a package and the total was extremely high.

Came in for my tsa precheck appointment only to find out that the only person in the store who can do tsa precheck called out. I'm not upset about the appointment being canceled, but I am upset I didn't receive any notification or phone call about it ahead of time. It makes me think that they don't take the appointments seriously.
