I usually don’t do this and considering I’ve come to this store before and it hurts to say this but I may have to leave this place alone. If you make a offer on something a customer is selling and you and the customer agrees to it, don’t back out because another employee says “I wouldn’t pay that” or give me the excuses that you don’t have small bills to add $5 to a purchase. That’s by far the most ridiculous thing I’ve heard from any store selling thousands of dollars of merch, at over priced amounts at that. That’s what I experienced on my latest trip to Swish. Employee literally made me the offer we both agreed then slim lightskin guy with short hair says he wouldn’t buy them all of a sudden they don’t have 5s so now the they can’t buy from me. Smh yea respectfully done coming here after that one

This place has a decent amount of shoes but only bases thier pricing off what Stock X does.1. Stock X quit being reputable well over a year ago.2. They include the Stock X "processing fee", shipping, and tax in thier final price. That means a shoe on Stock X might have a $500 sale price but after shipping, fees, and taxes, that shoe is now $625.Swish wants the $625. Why on earth would I pay a shipping and processing fee for an over the counter transaction? And why on earth would I buy from a store that uses a less than reupatble web site to price thier inventory? Stock X has been letting fakes through for years but that's who you're basing prices on? Ok Swish.... Ok *eyeroll.Especially when GOAT and Ebay are aslo setting aftermarket prices....Swish doesn't care about that. Probabaly because GOAT and Ebay don't have all of the extra fees so there's no way to justify marking things up 25% above what the actual market is for any given shoe.Courtside at Crabtree does this as well and it's a scummy way to squeeze an extra few bucks out of your customers. I'm just one dude so it's not like me refusing to shop in either of those places will make a difference......But still. Scummy scummy scummy. Shame on y'all.I'll stick to buying shoes at Capital BST, Sir Castle Ts, Superior Heat, or one of my new personal favorites, Out The Box Vintage on Hillsborough St. All of those places are awesome and price thier shoes in a much more fair manner when compared to Courtside or Swish.

All the retro Jordans are overpriced by $160!! they're cheaper on flight club ,stadium goods or even goat app and their excuse was because you can get the shoes today lol. So you going to charge me an extra $160 bucks? Ridiculous

Called to inquire about a pair of dunks for my daughter, they only had 1 pair left in the size I needed. I said I was on the way, and the gentleman put them to the side. Transaction was quick and easy! Staff was friendly and courteous. I will be back to purchase again!Thank you Swish! You just made my daughters 13th birthday!!!

Crazy high taxing in the selection..and not even that great of a selection. Stick so G.O.A.T or SNKR+NIKE app or regional sneaker comps. No kick is worth 30 to 50% above already mark up prices that aren't retail.

A really pleasant experience. The offer was fair and saved me the time of going through StockX. Highly recommended.

The amazing people at Swish Durham are knowledgeable, professional, kind, and generous beyond measure. They support public education and Durham Public School students. Swish deserves our business and I will forever be a customer and fan.

Drove a decent distance to visit the store. After browsing for awhile I was told their card machine was broken and I would have to pay (hundred of dollars) with cash. They accepted no responsibility and just passed the blame off. They offered to hold them for me, which would not matter or ship them to me. The prices were high enough that I could find the shoes online cheaper, which includes shipping. They did not want to work with me or offer me anything for causing me an inconvenience. Very disappointing because I was trying to support them instead of buying online.

Went and bought a pair of dunks for my cousin’s wedding. Staff was awesome and Ben, the manager, was great! I ended up being the best dressed person at the wedding, and afterwards when we went out for drinks, I got complimented on my shoes…a first for me. I will chase that moment the rest of my life.

Please get your sneakers online. Prices here are often double what you'd pay online resell sites such as StockX or GOAT. Unfortunately those profits don't go to the employees either; ask them what the starting pay is the next time you head in. Quite a business model, eh?Edit to add: take a look at that response. If you're here reading reviews, is this the type of business you're looking to support?

Swish Durham is by far the worse resale location!! DO NOT SHOP OR ATTEMPT TO WORK FOR THEM! They have yet to give my girl her W2 form to file her taxes and it’s damn near April. They sold my son a pair of shoes and they were of different sizes. Once noticing they did nothing to correct their actions. They are trash and should be closed down!
