Amaria was definitely a blessing to me. I came into the U-Haul a few weeks ago, distraught, because life was handing me lemons. She gave me an encouraging word and a big hug in the midst of my tears. When I came into the store today, she remembered exactly who I was, and asked how everything was going. I let her know that everything was working out, and I thanked her for the big hug when I was the other last time. She gave me another big hug and congratulated me on my move. Cameron was also a very helpful sales person who assisted me to the car with my boxes. He was respectful, pleasant and super helpful. Kudos to this amazing team. Thank you for being professional and polite. You are what the world needs

Went for propane. The girl who helped me, I think her coworker called her Jordan, was very friendly and fast to help. Will be returning here in the future.

Although the installer himself did a good job once he showed up to work. The customer service experience was one of the worse ones I have ever experienced.I had called the U-Haul customer service number earlier in the morning and was told all the locations closest to me where booked for another month but this specific location in Durham had plenty of availability for a hitch installation, I proceeded to make the appointment and drove an hour. Once there I was immediately met by a young lady behind the counter who laughed at me saying the installer was not going to show up, everyone else behind the counter could not really disagree with the lady but one of the man said he thought he would show up but I’d have to wait an hour. I asked why they would have the schedule available online if the only installer was not present to which non of them had an answer.I decided to stay and hope the installer showed up not to waste the drive. To my surprise he was there within 45 minutes. It then took 3 hours for the installation to be completed, the appointment was for an hour and a half.When he finally was helping me check out he told me there were plenty of other locations closer to me with availability and that I didn’t need to come to their specific location. The whole check out process was done while the original young lady hovered swooning over the tech while she touched and talked to him about their private plans while she looked at me with a smirk. So yeah I don’t recommend this location, what I do recommend is some serious staffing review and new hiring.

Drove about 40 minutes to pick up a one way truck and several dolly’s. My experience was fast and efficient.. thanks to the team there.

This U-Haul pulled a prank on me by letting me reserve a cargo van, making me drive all the way to Durham from Raleigh, then telling me they didn't have the van or anything else for me to rent, thereby completely wasting my time and ruining my plans. Good one U-Haul, you really got me.

I've had numerous difficult interactions over the past week dealing with uhaul, but Aaron was incredibility helpful, competent, and generally a pleasure to interact with. He helped me resolve my problem quickly and clearly knew what he was doing. I had to ask for his name just to make sure I could give him credit for a genuinely excellent customer service experience.

Walked in and scheduled an appointment to install a trailer hitch. Came back on time, waited for 2 hours to realized they didn't even start the work. Wasted 2+ hours of my time. Another poor customer was waiting for 5 hours to get a hitch installed. Terrible experience.

Staff was a bit slow. I think throttled by their slow app / point of sales system. I also think I was double charged for moving boxes. I had reserved them, but they weren't showing up on the associate's end in his system. I will fight that later.They checked me in but didn't tell me where on the huge lot the truck was so I had to walk all around the lot in the hot sun to get it. The truck had low air in the tire but the employee said to go ahead with it.During equipment return, the lot was jam packed and hard to navigate in a giant truck. The key slot was difficult to find due to there being so many trucks parked in front by the door that it was not apparent, but eventually found.The app was horrendously slow to upload photos / go through the steps while I stood in the pouring rain waiting for it to upload photos.Overall, I think the UHaul app and POS system needs some overhaul / better bandwidth. It is slow to the point of stifling business / customer experience. Time = Money for all involved

The guys at this loc charge me wrong!! I put the gas back, but they put the gas cost in my receipt. UHAUL APP sucks. It did not allow me to return the truck via APP, so I call their 24*7 call to make a note that the truck was returned at the same day, but eventually, the guys at this loc added the overnight fee in my receipt, which is so not professional and so customer friendly... the worst experience with U-Haul dealers.... Do not like it at all...

Cameron really took the time to take care of customers. The store was full but he worked hard to clear the store swiftly and by taking care of every customer’s needs. We definitely don’t see this kind of service anymore.

Moving is so stressful but this Uhaul location staff helped make it less so. Efficient, helpful and kind, I really appreciated the service. They helped arrange a trailer when our 20’ truck was filled to the brim and all of the fleet was reserved during high season. Jeremy offered great tips for driving and managing the trailer, and rounded with a pep talk. Thank you.
