On hold for 45 minutes regarding aPrescription. Need to shut this site down as it gives Walgreens a bad name. Call to manager also went unanswered. Guess it's hard to hire competent employees when you offer sheet pay? Or is theManager incompetent?

Can I give negative stars? This location at Sherron and 98 is the absolute WORST pharmacy. There has been some issue with EVERY and I do mean EVERY prescription for months and months now. I thought it would get better but amazingly it just gets worse. Trying to reach someone here is next to impossible as well. (I'm currently on a hold for OVER an hour although I was number 2 in line at the beginning of the call.) Not only are they incompetent, they are rude and sometimes outright nasty to deal with. Also, my vet called in an Rx and spoke to a person on a Friday. I called the store to follow up on the status and the store couldn't find it. Then they said they just found it in their voicemail. I believe the vet who spoke says she spoke to a human over the person at the store who said they had the Rx by voicemail. So the staff lies as well.

I am 68 yr old senior on oxygen supplementation, I had appointment for 12:50pm Wednesday, September 27,2023.I arrived at the store at 12:45pm and made my presence known to the cashier. She acknowledged me and recorded mu drivers license number. It took 12 minutes before she gave me the forms to fill out. I waited. At 1:30pm I advised them to cancel the two shots that I was supposed to receive as I exited the store. I was the only person waiting on shots, and they had 2 pharmacists and 3 stock/counter persons working. The pharmacist Brian knew I was there all the while. In fact he peered over the counter and looked directly into my eyes. Poor customer service appears to part of the Walgreens Brand.

After seeing a 1.7 star rating, I thought for sure it had to be the result of people intentionally (and unfairly) tanking this pharmacy's rating, but... sure enough... 1.7 is actually a higher rating than this pharmacy and its staff deserve. Turns out 1.7 is in fact an unfair rating; it should actually be much lower. Walgreens corporate needs to either clean house or close this store.

This is the most convenient pharmacy to me and I am extremely disappointed with the customer service. I was on hold to speak with a pharmacist for 36 min. before my call was cut off. When I called back the recording said there were three people ahead of me. I do not blame the staff as I see them run from cash register to the drive thru. There are simply not enough people to help customers and I'm sick of it. CVS is directly across the street and will now be my go-to drug store.

This location is way to under staffed. I usually bite my tongue and exercise empathy for their situation but now the staff is extremely rude. They talk out loud about customers while people are waiting in line. They slam and throw things down and they openly discuss shutting down the drive thru and ignoring the phones. I understand that they are completely overwhelmed but that kind of behavior will only hurt them in the long run. I am usually calm and polite, I've even called in the past to give praise for them working so hard. Today I was there and Erica was doing all of the above. She was extremely rude to me and when I told her that she needed to tone down the attitude, she snapped at me and accused me of being rude to her when i had barleysaid a word. I have had enough of this treatment and will be looking for another pharmacy to conduct my business.

The absolute worse Pharmaceutical experience I have ever had!!! These are some rude, unprofessional, humans. They do not do their jobs and mess up medicine orders. They lie about what is being done and ruin the Pharmaceutical name of Walgreens. I have never thought a Pharmacy could move and and act this way. They act like they are not worried at all about their actions resulting in consequences from their employers. Avoid this location at all cost.

Stopped in here to get some over the pain medicine for my son. There was a sign in front of the medicine that said it was $1 off so I grabbed two of them, thinking might as well get some while they're on sale. Unfortunately, this store refused to honor the sale because it had to be done on an app. I told the manager I was having trouble getting my phone to work and asked her if she could please use my Walgreens phone number and use whatever code she had and she refused. I was shocked. What kind of store refuses to honor the price on their merchandise? Walgreens, that's who. This is the last time I will ever go into a Walgreens. They need to have very clear signage that says "only on the app - not valid with your Walgreens card" so that customers don't get a surprise when they go to check out. I also would have appreciated a one time coupon override from the manager since I did not realize this was their new policy. Hopefully others will see my post and not go into the store thinking the prices they see on the items are what will actually ring up at the counter.

Always a great experience here. The people are so nice. They have a great selection of books and items related to the city of Durham and it history.

Don't recommend the pharmacy. Go anywhere else. They are severely understaffed and your meds will sit, no one will call you to update you if there's an insurance issue or other issue. Good luck if it's a medication you urgently need for your health.

Our family has never had a good experience with this pharmacy. This is the closest pharmacy to us and we typically prefer Walgreens, but we will need to switch to a new pharmacy. The prescriptions take way too long to fill, they lose prescriptions, they make you wait in line for way too long, they do not communicate with you, they mess up insurance information (they over charge you), they do not give receipts, or verify information. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs.

Prescriptions are constantly incorrect and/or not ready when they say they are, wait times are outrageous(inside and out) and it's next to impossible to get help correcting Walgreens mistakes.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Walked into the store the cashier was busy and so was the pharmacy. I found someone that was working the floor. Walked up to ask a simple question (clearly 6ft apart) said excuse me and she looked at me like I had 3 heads almost fell over and took off running and just stood at the end of the section with disgust on her face. I simply apologized and asked my question twice and she still stood there staring at me in disgust. I understand the Covid situation going on but I had my mask on was not near her. Worst customer service I've ever received and I will never go back to that store. It's been getting bad the last few times I have been but this is it. I will be transferring all of my stuff to CVS I am DONE.
