Walgreens's automated voice customer service is consistently terrible. It almost never understands what I say, so I almost always have to wait for a human being. I just spent 57 minutes on hold, waiting for a human, and then it hung up on me without anyone saying hello. Then I called and waited for another 27 minutes, and the same thing happened again. On the isolated occasions when I've reached a human, the human has usually been reasonably helpful. Walgreens needs to hire more of them and/or install a decent automated system.

This pharmacy would not honor GoodRx price on my prescription. They would not complete the transfer to another pharmacy to honor GoodRx pricing.

Every time I come to the pharmacy here, not only is my prescription not ready, but they don't even have it in their system. This is the only pharmacy I've ever been to that has this issue! I don't understand what it is about this Walgreens location.

I cannot thank this wonderful staff for their recent assistance! They were incredibly busy filling prescriptions given the current cold/flu season and responded to our need with the utmost curtesy and kindness. Thank you so much for your excellent care!

Terribly inefficient pharmacy. Unfortunately, forced to use it as mom’s insurance no longer can be used at the Harris Teeter across the street which was great. Use them instead if you can.

I called this Walgreens asking them to move a prescription from another pharmacy to this one FOUR times this week and not once did they do it despite being told four times that it would be moved in a day or two, I haven’t gotten my medication in a week because I can’t make it to the other pharmacy that it is currently at and got delayed so much being repeatedly told they would have the meds ready later that day. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs this has been a nightmare.

Always give the run around about filling a prescription. The last tech just appeared to be annoyed I was trying to do business with them.

Being on hold for over three hours is bad. Being on hold with a robotic voice telling you "We're sorry, there is staff answering other calls. Please hold on, we will be with you shortly. There are more than 3 callers ahead of you" every 20 seconds is absolute hell. Do they purposely make it annoying so you hang up?I need to find a local pharmacy that actually staff their locations. After seeing way too many understaffed Walgreens in the area, I can see why workers want to strike.edit: Then they immediately hang up once it's your turn, what a burn

There is always a shortage of pharmacists which makes waiting an ordeal. With more people getting vaccines, they need to not book appointments back to back where customers have to wait so long. Poor management.

I'd give a negative 1 if yelp would let me. Stopped in at 1148 because they advertised 24 h. Sign on the door said they were closed temporarily, but employees were walking around inside goofin off.

This is the most dysfunctional and unprofessionally staffed walgreens in Durham. they keep you waiting in an insanely long line for drive through while the pharmacy staff focuses on vaccines instead of people who need their medicines, and once you’re in that line you can’t get out of it. I literally sat in the same place in line for 35 minutes. if you have a person whose medication still need time tell them to pull forward and help the next person. but when you ask them about it it’s like they have zero idea what they are doing and no sense of urgency at all. I could see them inside walking around at a slow pace laughing and telling each other jokes . whoever manages this place —for the sake of the whole community please step it up.

I came in to get a prescription. The line had about 15 people. After waiting for what felt like an eternity, the employee told me it wasn't ready like with an attitude like I was supposed to know it wasn't ready. Then you had to wait for an hour only to go back in and wait in line again. They are several employees in the pharmacy so I'm not sure why it takes so long but I will never ever come here again.

Said open 24 hrs but it is not open at even 11. Had a bad rash and tried to go the pharmacy despite being the farthest one from Cary and it was closed. Lot of people were coming in and then leaving since the doors were closed with a cart
