Absolutely THE WORST POST OFFICE THERE IS. They mix up mail all the time, leave slips when they’re too lazy to drop packages and this will be my eighth trip there since I’ve lived here. They put my items in a lock box they said they’d never use again since the key they provided dies not work. So now I gotta take off work today, drive 40 mins back home to just get them to open it and give me attitude the whole time when they do.
I’m gunna do all I can to escalate this to a higher level outside of the branch here as the lack of care and all just isn’t there to escalate in the office.
EDIT: THE LADY WHO RUNS THE BRANCH IS VERY NICE AND CAME AND HELPED ME… I THINK ITS THE CARRIERS THAT JUST DONT DO THE JOB CORRECT HALF THE TIME. THE OFFICE THEMSELVES ARE ACTUALLY ALWAYS NICE.

a man inside was kind in helping get info on a stolen/lost package.
driver scanned my package as delivered, package was no where to be seen..talked to the driver the next day and they had said their was no package delivered that day.
went to the post office to see if they could help find it and the only info i could get was that the coordinates showed it was scanned at the mailbox that day..but the driver said it was never delivered? Doesn't make any sense.

July 8th, 2024 Our carrier decided to not bring a package to the front door when it would not fit in the box. Put it between the boxes at the street which we cannot see from our house. LAZY

I have no problem getting mail in the mailbox. However, they refuse to deliver the important things to my door. I didn't get a letter from one of my lawyer's, four cremation urns for my sisters, and a check that lawyers are waiting on to settle an estate an estate. I reported it, but the postmaster doesn't seem to care.

The postal staff in the office are very friendly and helpful. The mail carrier for our HLV neighborhood is excellent/the best!

The carriers marking items undeliverable because they don't want to do their job that day? Mailbox is street access and we have two doors accessible outside, so there is absolutely no reason. Was told they would try again well that was November 24, here we are November 29th and the mail got delivered but my package is MIA. Absolutely bull.

The East Flat Rock, NC post office is a small rural office and they have weird hours of operation which makes it a challenge to do business there because they close at 4:30 and are closed at lunch, but the people are great, theres hardly ever a line and they receive packages from ups & FedEx. They even deliver the packages for them 7 days a week!
