Terrible, They towed my car and that costed $150!! They have a sign that says no parking but it is hidden behind 2 flags!! Terrible people that have no respect to their community. The towing company agreed with me!!

Great company. The comments about parking are not their issue. The building and parking lot are NOT owned by them. Why not blame the other co.pany in the building?

They don't care about their local community, as they charge you $150 if you are caught parking in their parking lot on the weekend. The "no parking signs" are not put where you can see them once you are parked. I came in from the side and did not see them.Once parked I walked to a local coffee shop just yards away, for less than 10 minutes. In that short amount of time my car was towed and impounded. Amazing... I thought my car was stolen, so while I was on the phone with the police walking around in panic, I noticed the sign at the end of the parking lot. They contracted a local towing company - "Scott's Automotive" - as partners in crime. They swooped down on me almost immediately after I left my car and walked around the corner out of sight. They must just be sitting there in their tow truck, in some obscure spot, waiting for their next victim. It should also be noted that there was a car parked right next to mine at the time. This car was still there when I came back and mine was gone. I feel like I was entrapped. If Carolina Bookkeeping was so concerned about people parking in their lot on the weekends when they are closed, they could put up a couple of chains across the entrances, or at the very least put their signs where people can see them once parked. I believe this is all about making fast money on the backs of folks like me who come to downtown to patronize the small businesses on the weekends.Shameful - I would not give them my business... Shameful...

We pulled into a lot that said Free Parking and parked in front of city cones thinking that we would be fine to spend time downtown and this business had our vehicle towed. We had to spend $154 to get out car back after we thought we parked in the right spot.We were there on a Saturday and there were plenty of open spots, so there was no chance that we thought we were in the wrong place. We didn't even see the sign for No Parking until we came back to find our car because it's at such an obscure angle and looks like it even relates to an outlet road and not the parking lot. This business does not properly mark their parking spots and prey on those that they hope miss their sign and confuse private parking with free parking. There is even a sign erected by the city indicating the historic reclamation of the parking lot in that same area. Hope something gets done about this ASAP.

I came to visit Main Street in Eden on a Saturday. I came around the backside of Carolina Bookkeeping's parking lot and parked next to another vehicle that was already parked there. Apparently this was a tow away zone, even though there was another car parked next to me and there were no visible signs (or I would have moved!). I walked around the corner to visit a coffee shop (w/ great coffee!) and was only there for 5-10 minutes tops. When I came back outside my car was gone and the other car was still there!! I thought my car was stolen. I then discovered a "No Parking" sign after walking around while calling the police. Keep in mind this is a huge parking lot, on a weekend, and it was empty except for me and one other car. The other car was still there, mine was gone and this business was closed. FYI - Carolina Bookkeeping has contracted with Scott's Automotive to tow / impound anyone who dares park in their lot on a weekend to patronize the small businesses on Main Street. My car was parked for 5 minutes, there were no signs visible from where I was parked. It cost me $150 for a cup of coffee. This is mean spirited and I would not patronize either of these businesses. Put up a chain on the weekends, or a few more visible signs if you really don't want anyone in your precious parking lot. I think this was entrapment. I work hard for $150. Both of these companies are profiting from this - and it's a shame. Shame on you both. I think you are thieves...

Ive used Carolina Bookkeeping for 15 years for all my taxes and payroll. When I was audited several years ago by the NCDOR they handled it from start to finish and the agent couldn't find a single thing we could have done better. That really gave me confidence I was with the right outfit. The advice and counsel Ive received opening, operating, and even selling 4 separate business ventures over that time has been invaluable. I wouldn't be where I am now without them. Thanks to Wayne and the whole crew!

When it comes to understanding tax laws, mergers, acquisitions, and how to operate business, Wayne Emerine is amazing. He understands how to allow business owners to use their capital to maximize efficiencies and minimize tax implications. He understands the laws and regulations that often limit business growth and how to navigate them properly.
