I mailed a check to PO Box that is on my delivery ticket. Payment has never been posted. I called the phone number for Amerigas and they say they can't do anything about it. Well if you can't mail payment to address on the ticket, the address shouldn't be on ticket to begin with. I'm so disgusted with Amerigas. I'll not deal with them again.begin with. anoththcan do because the local offices no longer post to accounts. Box that was on

The customer service is the worst there is. They cannot seem to fix the problem of delivery guy putting gas on wrong tank, now my 86 year old mother with heart condition has no heat or gas to cook with or have a hot bath. 6 calls in and they cannot fix it.

UPDATE: It took 2 months of calling 1-2 times per week, but I was finally able to get a number for representatives in the US. The experience working with them was much, much better. They were able to understand my situation and helped me resolve all of the issues with my account. Tracy and Nancy - you both rock!--Original Review--This is an absolute garbage company. Terrible customer service. I have had nothing but issues since I moved into my home. I'm a fairly patient and understanding person, but I hate this company with a passion.1. They had my tank listed in their system as 200 gallons more than it actually is. This took multiple phone calls and plenty of arguing to have corrected.2. Because they had the wrong tank size, I was incorrectly charged $500 for a 2nd delivery four days after my first delivery that physically could not have happened because my tank was already full from that first delivery. I'm guessing they delivered to a different house and put it on my account. (Or they do this all the time and most people don't catch it. Who knows.) This also took multiple calls and plenty of arguing about basic math to have corrected. Let me rephrase that - they told me it will be corrected. I haven't actually seen the correction yet (see point #4).3. I was on auto-delivery (definitely off of that now) and my tank nearly went empty during this past winter. It took a week and multiple calls to actually get somebody to come fill it. My wife was pregnant at the time and I was terrified that we were going to lose heat. There are no local people to call - it's always an overseas call center.4. For some reason my online account now says it is in the process of being set up, but I've had the account for over a year! Because of this I have limited access to my account and can really only make payments with it. I can't schedule deliveries, view deliveries, see my account balance, or do any other account maintenance. I've been told the issue has been escalated to whatever team, but I really doubt they're actually looking into it.As you can probably guess, I am switching companies as soon as I can. Beware.

Always provides a delivery preventing a dire need for service. You couldn’t ask for better service.

You delivered gas before I even knew I was running low. Thanks for taking one thing off my plate of things to worry about.

You don't leave a note on the door when you deliver. You are unresponsive to customer inquiries.Your estimates for month-to-month billing are a joke. You make deliveries after the summer months when we never use the gas.You don't take complaints about my gas tank leaking seriously. You refuse to delete obsolete billing contacts.THERE IS A CONTACT THAT IS NOT MINE AND YOU REFUSE TO DELETE IT!If there's an easy way to change primary contact, I haven't found it.You can't even list the correct billing amount online. Sometimes one part of your website says zero and another is over $1000.Your company is the worst.

We got an auto delivery literally 2 weeks before getting a flyer in the mail for their spring promotion. When called and talked customer service didn't care and didn't try to make the situation correct. Never heard anything from billing as I was promised either.

Amerigas has repeatedly inflated their prices per gallon I'm paying for propane in the Edenton, North Carolina area. Any questions regarding billing is handled off-shore with no access to local personnel making it difficult to resolve disputes/issues.Here are examples -- Purchased propane on April 19th, 2023 for $3.759 per gallon; and paid $3.629 per gallon in January, 2023. From reviewing market prices on-line, the cost per gallon has decreased since January by 11 cents; however, Amerigas is charging 13 cents more per gallon. When contacting their customer service agent, they said the prices reflect market prices; however, this is doesn't correlate with on-line sources. When asking the representative what the current price is a week later after the delivery, he said that it had dropped $.40 cents in one week; however, he couldn't provide an adjustment. This doesn't correlate with market price data for residential propane that I'm seeing on-line and these large adjustments in propane aren't realistic in my opinion- Amerigas doesn't make it clear that the tank lease fee is only charged if I don't order at least 650 gallons during the contract period. The customer service representative communicated this information and said that it's listed in the T&C's; however, in searching these contract documents on-line, no mention of this condition exists- Amerigas has a policy that it fills the tank to %80 capacity. The tank was filled on April 19th to only 70% capacity. The latest delivery not only failed to reflect the $.40 cent drop in propane prices that they're charging, they didn't fill the tank to capacity which means they are able to charge more on delivery fees plus an annual tank lease fee. They also updated the on-line system to reflect 80% capacity when the meter on the tank says 70%. I had a technician come out to inspect the meter when the tank was overfilled in January to close to 100% and the meter on the tank was reported as being accurate
