Went to the Elizabeth City lowe's tonight around 6:15pm. Went to the back of the store and found a rug that I needed. Carried it to the cash register area and walked up and down the front looking for an open register. THERE WERE NONE. Not a single register open in the store. I asked the employee standing by the self service check out if there truly was not a register open in the store in case I was missing something. He confirmed there was not. I don't work there, I don't get paid by them. I do not expect to have to work in order to then pay them for a product. I set my rug down by self service, said that I do not work here and I left. I prefer to deal with local businesses but I will just go ahead and purchase from Amazon next time. With the exception of lumber there's prettyou can't get on amazon and I don't have to work for free in order to pay them for something I buy.

I just moved here from out of state and have been here atleast once a day everyday for the last 2 weeks almost. Every time it was filled with well mannered people(unlike some other reviewers) and not sure how so much hate goes into these people who get crapped on for actually working hard during normal people business hours....

What has happened to this store??? Always out of stock on everyday items (other Lowes stock these items) or the associates cannot locate the items. And this particular store is always, always filthy and dusty! I'm not even sure who the manager is, but he/she needs to run this store more efficiently. I feel sorry for the employees, especially for the long term people. They have to be disgusted with management. What once was a nice place to shop has now turned into a salvage yard. I will say the current garden shop manager (Josh) is doing a fantastic job in keeping the plants fresh and well stocked. And it's cleaner than the inside!

Once again the Lowes in Elizabeth City has knocked it out of the park for me! Rena in the Pro Dept. is one outstanding employee and Lowes is lucky to have her! I bypassed many Lowes in my area of Chesapeake, Va. to drive an hour to Elizabeth City, N.C. because of her exceptional customer service in helping me put together everything I needed to build my 500 feet of wood privacy fence and 16x32 shed! It was a huge order and she got me everything perfect, not a single thing was missing from the literally thousands of pieces needed! And when the Lowes computer system had a glitch that it's own IT department couldn't fix, she stayed past her shift to fix it herself! I hope Lowes Elizabeth City knows what a gem of an employee Rena is for them. Thanks Rena!

Lowes of Elizabeth we ordered a washer we were promised a delivery date of march 10. I sat all day waiting with no show our receipt shows the 10 i call them now they tell me it the 17 i ask to talk to a manager Brandon he would never take my call ask for district supervisor number they refused to give it

My mother who is recently widowed (2 weeks) had to purchase a new refrigerator we went to Lowes. She purchased a refrigerator at Lowes Elizabeth City. The purchase was fine delivery was another thing. The drivers were an hour and a half after the time advised 1pm to 530 pm they arrived at 7pm. They were there 10 minutes and stated they could not get the fridge through the doors. The fridge in the house was bigger than the new one. They stated they could not deliver it and took it back. My husband measured the door it was fine. They were just late and didn't want to do it. My mom attempted to get a refund from Lowes customer service in the store they were rude and horrible. Not helpful has to call regional customer support to get a refund. We went to Home Depot who has excellent customer Service they had no issues removing the old fridge and putting in the new one. Delivered the very next day. Thanks for nothing Lowes. You will never get our business again. Home Depot all the way.

Lowes of Elizabeth City is awful. I ordered a refrigerator online that should have been delivered from the Kill Devil Hills store but I was told for 12 weeks that deliveries for that store came out of the Elizabeth City store. Allison Kellogg assistant store manager not the store manager which is what she's been telling me Does not tell the truth and has no follow through. Amy in the appliance department was helpful twice and then would no longer talk to me. Whitley the delivery manager so they say did not do as she promised and inspect my refrigerator for its 12th attempt at delivery prior to it leaving the store and yes it was damaged as well. I found out today that the actual store manager is John but I Could not talk to him. It was like it was not an option after 12 weeks of not receiving the refrigerator I ordered. And don't even try to go up the chain of command outside of the store because Lowes makes it nearly impossible to talk to anyone of authority. So after giving me 50% off of a refrigerator that I never received Allison solution was to Cancel my order without any compensation for the three months they've been stringing me along. BEWARE And the worst part is there was a gentleman ahead of me waiting to speak to Allison regarding a refrigerator that he hasn't received after four months!... So this definitely happens on the regular. I do not recommend this business because they lie, are not accountable and simply don't care about their customers.
