I have a phone through spectrum and I just paid my phone bill last night and my money didn’t go to my phone bill and it went straight to my phone itself this place needs to obviously be shut down the employees are completely rude to customers

The people that work at this office are unprofessional and have intentionally misplaced my mother’s check. They were rude to my mother (who is a senior citizen), and are doing things to cause her distress with her account. My mother physically took her check for payment (three weeks ago), and they never sent it in to spectrum for payment. They claimed they were having “issues” with their system and would have to mail her payment in, in lieu of processing it as an ACH. Now her payment is behind, and her check is STILL MISSING. Gross, disgusting, and egregious business practices—but I’m not surprised.11/20/23 update. To justify misplacing my mother’s missing check, the rude and inept receptionist made false claims about my mother. Still, no check. How do you lose an entire check? How are you THAT obtuse? Sad.

Normally I do everything I can to talk to someone over the phone VS going online to take care of payments or account issues. NOT WITH THIS COMPANY. My God no matter what the issue is they keep me on the phone for an extra 15 minutes holding me hostage over the issue I have to bullcrap and talk me into deals. Can't wait til a new provider comes to down when they do spectrum is definitely going.

Had at least 2 outages a week for mutltiple hours out of the day and wouldn’t pro-rate the price but maybe $5. Equipment is always breaking and constantly need a technician to come out to fix their constant problems. Lucky they are the only internet provider in my area otherwise I’d be willing to pay double somewhere else

I hate my spectrum phone, if I could turn back time, I would never have bought one and signed up for their service. Its 1 of my biggest regrets.

Friendly but couldn't get us phones for family. So we went to Verizon and got what we needed. Service at home has been lagging a lot. Probably need a new router.

Spectrum stuffs my email and mail box with promos all the time, but when I arrive back in Elizabeth City and have rezoned my former office from commercial to residential, Spectrum won’t change the service to residential. Three weeks now and no action. That is at corporate level. When I show up at the Spectrum Office in EC I think I have walked into a tattoo parlor. The lizards aren’t concerned about my issue. The “representative” dismisses me rudely, no apologies , with a very cynical “goodbye” and “have a nice day!” As long as she gets her paycheck, she couldn’t care less.

They went up on my bill three times in three years. I cancelled service with a week left on my billing cycle because we are moving. They said they don’t give refunds. So I just gave them almost $20 for nothing! Service was okay but the way they do business is not.
