This is the second time I’ve stayed here in the last 2 months traveling between Fl and Pa. It’s not a luxury inn, but for the price it’s clean, comfortable and the people in the front office are very nice. I will definitely be back next time I travel.I only took away a star because, while it’s clear the rooms are being remodeled (nicely) the bathtubs need some attention (old), hopefully they are just last on the list of remodeling.

Good price but hit or miss on the rooms. I've stayed here 3 times, the first two were decent clean rooms and everything in fair condition and this time I got a room with mold in the shower and a booger on the bathroom wall that's not mine. Overall for the price I've seem much worse but with kids or if you are picky as hell I would avoid but no bedbugs that I see or other bad issues besides the booger

A young man and woman was housekeepers was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean fair on prices front desk was ok!

First off let's start with the cockroaches. The towels are stained and nasty. The husband and wife inn keeper's are by far the rudest non appreciative people I have ever met. No toilet paper and no ice are just a couple of things this dive is missing.Rooms: 1/5

horrible! about the time we went to lay down the blaring music started and the beating on the walls it was so loud it rattled our door. we called front desk and told them what was going on and she said she would go check ,she never made it all the way up the stairs she came back saying she didn't hear nothing and said they were asleep,so my husband walks upstairs and can hear the music before he gets all the way up the stairs.she went back to front desk and the music continued I called back and asked to be moved and was told they didn't have any vacancies so I asked for refund and was denied,so we left. so If you want a good nights sleep I would not recommend this place.

The guy in the office is nice, but that woman is absolutely atrocious. I rented a room for 1 night. We stopped and got the key, and left for food without looking at the room. When we got back, we went in the room (me, my husband and 2 very small dogs) and the bedspread had dried BLOOD.. yes, DRIED BLOOD on it. I wish I could post pics on this review. So, we asked for our money back and the man in the office saw the pics and understood. He refunded the money, and was very nice and understanding. The woman came out and said as nasty as she could, "your dogs did it!" Now, please understand the word"Dried" and I have 2 dogs that cannot jump on a bed that high, they have stairs to get on furniture. We never unpacked, we walked in and right out. That woman was so nasty and offensive that I will never stay at that place again. If she had just kept her mouth shut, or said "I'm sorry, I dont know how this happened but we will fix it!" I would feel completely different about the whole experience. The man was super nice, thanks for that, but the woman is unbelievable.

Overnight stay after visiting Mt Airy. Was rated high. Older Motel with room repainted, laminate flooring and new bathroom tile and tub. Accessible room had older grab bars by toilet, NOT in tub/shower, had working hair dryer. Bed was comfortable and clean linens. Fridge, microwave and coffee pot in room Was clean except A/C filters 1/2 " thick with ??? and white powder.Wife said lots of permanent residents were noticed and construction workers. Would not be place for family with children close to main street. Not sure we would return. Thank you for clean room.

This is my 2nd time here and the ONLY thing that has changed is the quality of the rooms. And they have only gotten more nice. The staff is wonderful and polite, even down to their housekeeping. Best place in the world. If i had ANY thing to complain about is Wifi signal. And its not their fault. They stay so busy that everybody runs their signal. BEST MOTEL IN ELKIN AND THE SURROUNDING AREA BY FAR

The room seemed clean. No evidence of bedbugs, although I took some effort at inspecting for them (but did not pull up the mattress). The little refrigerator ran a bit loud, but I slept through it fine. Toilet paper supplied, sufficient. Towels and washcloths, sufficient. The water ran fine, the drains, sufficient. The Internet connection was a bit slow, but I could still use it for some functions. The person in the office was polite and friendly and communicated in a straightforward, complete, and businesslike way. The online booking experience worked fine. [edit] I should add that nothing happened to risk passing Covid around. No staff were up close and personal with me. The desk staffer was behind a transparent shield, and there was no need for me to interact with any other staffer.

The room was clean and well kept. Did not understand the 50.00 dollar deposit because I was using cash. But it was refunded as soon as I checked out. I will be going there again in the future.Rooms: 5/5

Was just thrown out of this hotel because I have an emotional support animal was given no notice said that they reserved my room to someone else even after I made a reservation for a month paid weekly told I was gonna stay for at least the month if not longer but today they threw me out because they didn’t have any rooms available to rent to me even though the hotel is half empty Very poorly ran establishment very rude

This place was great. We stayed at a super8 the night before for about the same price and this place was like 3x better. Clean sheets, clean bathroom. Only complaint was the walls were a bit thin so we could hear a lot of noise from other rooms. Also thoroughly appreciate the pun in the name, of course.

When I entered the office, the Booker was nice. He had great manners. We went through the process of booking me in so easily. The room was great. The room was preheated. Slept really comfortable. Wouldn't hesitate to come back.

We just needed some where to sleep, room was pretty clean, service was nice. Looks like they are trying to make updates. I'd stay again.
