Tried calling at 10 min to 9pm to say I was on my way. No answer, I feel it was deliberate. I pulled into parking lot at 8:54 pm. As the customers were walking out, she locked the doors in my face. Very rude service. I see why these stores are out of business where I live.
The people who just walked out, said she was in there, but I told them Foodlion was open. Close at 8:30pm if you want to leave at 9pm!
I won't be back.

I bought something not found in the car when i got home. I live an hour away and they dont answer their phone. Guess im just screwed. Why have a # if you have no one answering or a voicemail?

Be careful buying cold food. In the past i’ve exchanged expired drinks to new ones after buying without realizing. Stopped getting the salads, meats, cheese after noticing so many old. Saturday bought a frozen pizza for work lunch and cooked it. Husband & I now have food poisoning. Dg is great, unfortunately we work on the island that has no quick food options.

Love the store. They pretty much always have items I need quick and it saves me the time of having to drive to AB or EI. Staff is always friendly and helpful!

I was very pleasantly surprised by the Dollar General near 3000 Emerald Drive, Emerald Isle, NC. Ill admit i was expecting more of a Dollar Store vibe than a General Store vibe but, while its a bit of both, its definitely more General than Dollar. They had great looking fresh fruit, un-scary dairy, frozen foods, beer, wine, sodas, etc. plus many general store items. All items were reasonably priced, particularly for a beach town. I had no idea. But now I do.

The store is completely disorganized, they will have everything but what you need. If you need to go to the store, just go to the food Lion on the island.

I walked here from the beach access just up the street, after coming down here for an impromptu beach trip. They had everything I needed to be able to stroll along the beach; I was able to find something with more coverage than a bathing suit, and less than what I wearing when I arrived, plus sunscreen. Decent prices and friendly employees!
