My wife and I rented paddle boards from this surf shop. I wasn’t able to give much notice for the rental. I pretty much asked to rent right now. They fixed me up and off to the ocean we went! My wife and I had a great time wandering around on the ocean on the paddle boards. Great folks to rent from. If you are looking for a place to rent stuff like this, this is the place to go.

Great business! I rented two boards with them over Memorial Day weekend. The owners were very knowledgeable, friendly, and were flexible with the return time. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a board rental!

The natural area of the sound that Hot Wax Surf Shop took us to for kayaking was beautiful and full of marine life! The staff was very hospitable explaining everything as well as dropping us off and picking us up. The price was fair for kayak rentals with drop off and pick up. Overall a great event! Thanks to Hot Wax Surf Shop!

The staff was very friendly and supportive. They briefed us on the environment we would be paddling in, safety concerns, and how to enter and exit the water. The kayaking experience was wonderful!

Highly recommend Hot Wax. This place is a hidden gem. Carly was wonderful to talk with. They have lots of rental equipment. The store inside has a great selection of quality clothing, hats, surf/body boards and accessories.

We did have an amazing time exploring the beautiful Cedar Point Recreation Area on the SUP provided by Hot Wax. They provided great introduction and delivery service. Get prepared to be surrounded by beautiful nature, paddle around the recreation area and let yourself float at some point. It is truly amazing!

Had a wonderful experience with the kayak rentals! It was such a wonderful morning out on the water and the Hot Wax team made everything very easy for our party of 10 including kids age 7-10! Highly recommend for any of your kayaking needs.

This was a very nice experience. The setup and payment is done right here, then you follow the truck carrying your kayak to a pristine and sheltered preserve. When done, put kayak on the grass and leave. Very well simple and a beautiful area.

Booked 3 kayaks with this business today. They were great! Great delivery service, good orientation to kayaking and advice on touring the bays at Cedar Point Recreational area. We especially liked that we could stop and leave kayaks in a location at the launch. It was pretty hot so we didn't want to make it a long day in the sun.

I took a surf lesson with Hot Wax and was very happy with my experience. The instructor was helpful and patient as I was learning. This was my first time surfing and the instructor was very thorough. Afterwards, I bought some clothes from the store at an amazing price ($10 for a t-shirt and $10 for a hat). The staff working the store was also very friendly. Would highly recommend.

My daughter took surf lessons with two other young ladies and the instructor was great! she had a great time.
