We we're on a family/friend vacation this past weekend and went to dollar general for a few things since the fiber optics were down they were open thank goodness. my starter ending up going out in the parking lot and a wonderful cashier Anita went above and beyond to help us get back on the road.

Shelves were really bare! But, I still got most of what I needed.

Thank goodness this place was opened during our stay as the road was closed in both directions after arriving in Rodanthe. They have a great selection and the prices are super low.
