The personnel that greeted us were great. Answered our questions. We still have not been contacted by the maintenance personnel as of yet, to checkout our fireplace, to see if it needs replacing or can be repaired.

Buyer beware. This place would not include installation in their estimate/quote. I found that to be off-putting. I asked Brenda several times and she oddly danced around the topic. She said their subcontractor (Dean) would contact me and he never did. Odd.It appeard that Brenda was only interested in selling/ordering products. That's her role. Why would I buy anything from her if have no idea how much it's going to cost to install it?It made absolutely no sense to me. So, I balked at that idea. I asked if Dean was bonded and insured. She said no. That's a problem. Her response to my inquiry was you can trust us. She said, Dean (their installer) is a good Christian man who's been in business for 30 years. I said, okay, that's great. I still need a quote on the total cost of the project.Unless they're subcontracting Jesus Christ himself, I don't care. To be honest, in my opinion. This place is, Red Flag City! Avoid it.What does a fireplace have to do with Catholicism or Jesus? It has nothing to do with it. I understand it's a southern American Bible belt marketing ploy that works on some folks. Bless their hearts! Smell my farts.I ended up going with one of their competitors. They included a full estimate with parts & labor included. They're fully insured and bonded, as well. Look around before you buy or you might regret it. My 2¢

Always great service. Got my lava rock for my fireplace faster than trying to buy it online.

Lost two months waiting patiently for an estimator and a price for a unit...never did get back to me. Lost my info and after a visit by me to ask why, Jack the Owner said he would get back to me "first thing Monday"...never heard from him.

i have been so impressed with Etowah's Fireplace and Patio knowledge and helpfulness. From going through all the options and finding exactly what I needed and wanted (made in the USA) to the installation (Dean is the best!!!!). I waited to have it manufactured but it was so worth it. Never one problem or glitch. I wish I could post a picture. I am so grateful. Thank you

This is a beautiful little shop to go for your fireplace needs. The service is very kind always helpful and very knowledgeable. Prices are very competitive if not a bit lower than other shops. We will be going back!

Called in to ask if they could service my fireplace that was not lighting and although they could add me to the service list, they were a few weeks out. A kind gentleman named Jack asked me about my issue and tried to talk me through it, giving me pointers to save me some time and maybe a service call. I will definitely be calling them again. Great customer service. Thank you, Jack!

Good luck getting them to greet and offer you assistance. Go to Wright's Hearth Heat and Home in Arden. They are helpful and courteous.

Went to Etowah Fireplace to have a new fireplace screen made as our interior screen had no glass doors and you could feel a slight draft of cold air coming in from the fireplace. Brenda showed us our options and then made a recommendation that we have overlay doors installed at a cost savings of several hundreds of dollars. We went with that option. The new doors were installed by Plato McCall and we could not be happier! Thanks Brenda!

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Paid their service repair Matt Brincks $200 on Nov 2, 018 to ignite a gas stove, it is now Jan. 3, 2019 and still will not answer calls to return and fix the stove It stopped working 2 days after the repair, and have been unable to get him back to repair the stove properly. It seems like he scammed me. He also "supposedly" cleaned a fireplace that did not need any repair, yet charged for it. Cannot Get Matt or Etowah Fireplace to stand behind the work--I understand that he is subcontracted, but how else is there to get resolution. IMO stay away from Matt Brinkley--overprice and unreliable.
