“Love the shop. It’s so nice to be able to avoid the ups rush especially around the holidays when you have a general drop off. I also like that we can drop off boxes to be reused by others so they don’t go to waste at a landfill.The older lady who works there always seems unfriendly, depressed and in a bad mood though. I drop off packages regularly and she always has an attitude like I’m inconveniencing her. There was a few guys and another younger girl who used to work there and they were always so warm and welcoming. It’s nothing against her as a person but it wouldn’t hurt to smile once in a while.I’m not asking anyone to be forced to say my pleasure like the awful place across the street but smiling is nice and yea we all dislike work some days but it shouldn’t be everyday that you have a sour attitude. I haven’t actually spoke to her besides pleasantries but I have told her I hope she has a good day and she didn’t respond to even say thanks.I have worked in retail too up until I was 21 and graduated college but even on my worst days unless someone was a Karen I always put a smile on for them. I now work with troubled teens and even when they are driving me crazy I keep my cool and stay positive.(To point out I was the only person in the store the last few times I visited so it wasn’t like she was slammed and stressed. I try to go when it’s least busy)”

“Very nice drivers. They put my heavy boxes exactly where I want them. Even moves things out of the way to stack them neatly. Calls me 30 minutes in advance to let me know they were on the way. I depend on them every month to bring my medical supplies. Always the best service.”

“Not completely sure which FedEx this young man works from. "Philip" picks up our Businesses Fed Ex shipment daily from the Sweeten Creek /I40 area in Asheville daily. We are not always ready for him yet he waits patiently and respectfully on us as needed. His professionalism is very much appreciated and i hope this complimentary observation makes its way to him. “Fedex Freight depot is well-managed. Fedex Ground is evidently a different story altogether. Have shipped many large crates with this Fedex Freight depot over the years, and had a much better experience than with UPS freight. Never any problems. Fedex Ground in Mills River seems to have a chronic problem performing their basic services, for whatever reasons. They've held an expensive crate of mine for over a week now, and I pray it isn't destroyed. Looking at the reviews, I see I'm not alone in this experience. But Fedex Freight is great. Go figure.”

“I wish people knew that Fedex Ground can't do ANYTHING about the drivers. The drivers are contractors from a different company and do not listen to Fedex. They vape, smoke, spit, in our facility and do not really care. The people who work IN the facility, who sort packages, and put them onto trucks work incredibly hard and are usually underappreciated. Remember, if your DRIVER is causing you issues that it is not the actual fault of Fedex ground employees.”

“I have used this store, mostly for Amazon returns, for several years and in my experience, it is one of the better UPS Store locations. Only once did I ever have a bad experience with a sour young man that didn't know how to treat customers. Other than that, staff is normally very pleasant and efficient.”
