About Burch Farms
Burch Farms is a small but friendly company. Check in and loading are quick and smooth when staff are available. The scale on site is a big help for drivers. There is some overnight parking for trucks. The process involves checking in at the office, then often needing to wash out the trailer yourself, even if clean. If they spray water in the trailer, they charge a fee. After washing, drivers get in line, take a ticket to the worker on the forklift, and get loaded. For bulk items, drivers scale first, print a ticket, get loaded, and scale again. It is important to set the trailer's refer to 50° after loading. The workers are nice guys, though some do not speak English very well. The company ships maximum weights, so drivers should come with full diesel tanks. The place is not huge for hanging out in a big truck. They go to lunch from 12pm to 1pm, and there is no sign saying they will be back, which can confuse drivers. There are fruit flies all over the place, so keep truck doors closed. Their produce, like collards, is noted as being very good.

It’s pretty busy place. The office is on the left side of the road in the building after docks. In time 6pm, got a dock at 10pm, out time 10:45pm.
Upd. My second time here was much better. In and out in 1 hour, no issues.

Dropping off is quick was only there an hour. Can park like 6 trucks in staging area. Docking and staging area plenty of room to maneuver. Pretty much do a straight line backing on both.
