Fayetteville airport location. Trash, rude horrible customer service. Gave us a broken rental over us free rental days to make up for it then when I went to use the free rental 2 weeks later they wouldn’t honor in because the girl we set it up with didn’t work there anymore.

We recently rented through the Alamo rental agency at the Fayetteville Airportlocation and received excellent customer service. We particularly appreciated Ashley J. as she was particularly accommodating to our needs. Thank you!

Made a reservation through Expedia for a Convertible mustang or similar 2 weeks ahead of time. They didn't have anything similar. They gave me a beat up Audi that clearly was a smokers car.

Worst experience I've ever had at a rental car and I rent 6+ times a year. I booked a rental car through Alamo at FAY airport, to land and be told they don't have any cars for me. If I wanted another car I had to pay $100 more than I already booked for. For such a small airport, this is quite the little scam they have thought up. The people are unwilling to help. Never again.

We broke down with are rental Alamo sent us to Fayetteville airport the lady at the counter had an attitude and did not even try to help us we had to contact corporate to fix problem

Wonderful staff and very easy to return the car. Due to Unforeseen circumstances we had to return our car back to a different Location. Triney, was wonderful and ensured that our turn-in would be smooth. She is fantastic. The manager, Duncan Lewis was standing near there and didn't even question her. They have a good team there. Any Issues are with the airport and the construction (which happens). Overall, I have been extremely pleased with Alamo.

They stated that the car was clean, yet upon entering the the vehicle, it was noted that it was not clean , the large surface was wipe down , but the area with the control buttons was dirty, yet along there is no gas in this area, so how are we supposed to return the car full???? And I forgot to say the car had a strong smell of Cigarrette smoke

By far the worst experience I have had renting a vehicle. To begin, the car wasn’t cleaned at all. I should’ve never left the airport but was in a rush. The inside smelled like dead fish and my family wouldn’t get inside the vehicle for family trip. So when I called and explained, they said no problem, we will call you within 30 minutes and you can exchange the vehicle at the airport. Awesome, trip still on schedule. Two hours later, I call back and still no vehicle to swap. They expedited my call to a specialist who then transferred me to roadside assistance??? After explaining the situation a third time, he asked me to drive to Wilmington, NC to swap the vehicle. That is two hours away from where I was currently located. Four hour turn and burn all together. After I explained that wasn’t possible. I was already delayed in leaving for a non-refundable family trip at Snowshoe Resort. The roadside assistance rep then said he would have a vehicle from Wilmington delivered to me and they would swap it out at my location. 1 hour later a tow truck pulls up, with no swap out vehicle. After speaking with the tow trick driver, I decided to send him on his way bc I didn’t want to be left without a vehicle. It was now 2130 at night and getting late. I had to have a 4x4 vehicle to get to the resort. So I called again and spoke with another rep who explained there was no vehicle coming from Wilmington and no vehicle swap planned. Really? After learning I couldn't get another vehicle that night, I cleaned the inside of the vehicle for 2 hours. At least made it bearable inside so my family could ride to the resort. Upon turn-in I called and spoke with a rep explaining this is not the service I paid for. He said they would either give me a full credit for the week or for a future rental. I told him this rental would be nice. Long story short, they didn’t compensate me for anything and hit my card for over the amount. Never again. Lessons learned.

The gentleman on shift when I arrived was rude and did not understand he could not be heard behind the counter with a mask on, in an airport. When told of the miscommunication he did nothing to rectify the situation or to speak louder. In fact, in the midst of him helping me and what I assume was based on an observation of my frustration, a coworker suggested to take over and for him to clock off.Which I agree was the best.As for the car, there was no inspection to ensure that the vehicle was checked for dings scratches or marks. The lady who helped me after the gentleman clocked off, who was very professional and receptive, told me to ensure there was no smoking in the vehicle. Upon entering the vehicle, you could smell the stench of cigarettes and there was even tobacco guts located in the center console. The vehicle was not washed at all and still had dirt from the previous renter in the back seats. Overall horrible experience. Will not be renting from them again.

Their website and their office information does not match. I reserved a vehicle a day ahead of arriving in Fayetteville and when I got there I was told that they only had one vehicle and it was almost 3 times the price of the original reservation. And to add insult to injury, they charged me $50 for nothing. If you want a car from here you have to come and rent it in person DO NOT RELY ON RESERVATION!
