Joined this gym during a special that was 30 dollars and then the price randomly jumped up to 50 dollars. Not to mention the random other fees that keep popping up out of no where that im forced to pay. I've never had this problem at any other gym. Also charging 50 dollars and im not allowed to have a gym partner with me is rediculous. Now I had surgery on my knee recently but still decided to go to the gym but brought a partner with me just in case i needed help. I also made the mistake of bringing a child because i didnt know i wasnt allowed to. Anytime fitness charged me 250 for a first offense with no warning. They basically said F U we don't care that your a respectable paying customer. Their the only gym I've ever been to thats this expensive and i cant bring atleast 1 person. I wish i could put 0 stars because 1 star is to high. Do not trust this gym they will take your money and lie and say they gave you warnings about fees when clearly they did not. Terrible customer service with limited to no respect to the paying customers.

I understand that no one is perfect but the staff here does a really good job at doing their best. Everyone here complains about the staff being inconsiderate, immature, inpersonable, etc. and yet won’t talk about their own shortcomings. These customers don’t talk about the weights and equipment they constantly leave thrown around the gym that I see the management and PT picking up and putting back, they don’t talk about the nasty hand prints all over the mirrors and machines that they have to wipe every single day, they don’t talk about people not knowing how to properly use the bathroom or clean up after themselves so the workers have to clean it for them. I can count on both hands the number of times I’ve seen parts of the gym left disgusting that the workers then had to go personally clean because someone couldn’t take 5 minutes out of their day to clean up after themselves. I personally wear my own headphones in the gym so the music they play has never once bothered me and the maybe 2 or 3 times I have forgotten headphones the music was fine. Not my personal taste but I would say it’s pretty fitting for a GYM where you want to workout and lift heavy weight. If you want my personal opinion, the problem with this gym is the people that go not the management. The people here have no consideration for the people around them which is exactly why they don’t mind leaving weights on machines when they’re done with them, or why gum is found in the cubbies or why the bathroom has been left in a disgusting condition more times than one. I’ll admit this is no powerlifting gym with the best weights and machines on the planet but as for someone that is focusing on bodybuilding and getting the work done it does an amazing job and I’ve never run into a problem with the staff before.

It's a shame a nice facility earns such a low review. The problem is, you can't focus on your workout with the garbage playing at such a high volume. Yes, garbage. It isn't worth calling gangsters rap using -N- words with references to disrespecting women music.Combine that with an office staff that childishly reverses the cheap box lockers to the wall because one of the immature idiots they attracted with the noise they have playing stuck gum inside them. Que sera sera. The files attached don't contain the worst sounds you hear emanating from this place, but they do reflect the style and volume. Now, other than this, it is a new gym and kept clean and if you're into gangster rap, and sticking your gum wherever it's convenient, then this could be the perfect gym for you. On the other hand, if you're respectful of the people around you and have high values, you'll probably want to find a location with a more conducive vibe for focus achieving your fitness goals.

when an inconsiderate member puts chewed gum in the cubbies the management punishes its paying members by blocking the cubbies. address the offending member not everyone else.

As far as chain gyms go, equipment and cleanliness is pretty on par. Has all the things you’ll need for a standard workout, including a new deadlift platform and bumper plates. Some equipment (1 flat bench, 2 squat racks) occasionally gets a little crowded during peak hours, but that’s expected at any gym.Was a member of Anytime Fitness for almost 3 years, with the last year or so at the Ramsey St location. They are strict about their guest policy (which is posted). I broke this policy by bringing my partner, who is not a member, after work during unstaffed hours. She was interested in trying the gym and wanted to see what it was like before committing to a membership. We were there for a bit over an hour and left. The following day, my key fob was deactivated and I could not enter the gym. Going back the next day, I was let in by staff and given a warning that next time would be a $250 fee and my membership would be cancelled.I was month-to-month, and didn’t feel it was worth keeping the membership at that point. Staff was helpful and cancelling my membership was easy enough. All in all, not a bad franchise gym. I understand the reason for the policy, although I would have appreciated an in-person conversation before being locked out.

Good enough gym to get it in. However, the staff it seems they not there for the gym. Is been since Friday and today is Monday and a few recipients of wet towels for equipment wipe down are out. The staff oblivious. Can be much better. You have an employee and his little click that spends 45 mins occupying a bench. For the most part just talking rather than working out. Chit chat go outside. Oblivious of others

Don’t trust them, they will take you’re money without letting you know what’s going on. Probably will charge you more than $300 at that!Update: May 1st you just tried to take about another $300 from me. You took $240 out on Friday now your taking another amount today. I will be canceling all services. No one’s been in the office to help. No one’s left a number anything. Left a voicemail. So Anytime Fitness is not to be trusted…..Last update. So apparently it’s a Failed attempt to inform others on the new policy on guest. No warning.. email… call sent out to acknowledge on this policy. So if you’re fine with being unaware on new updated policies that can mess with your money… by all means.

The administration crew of this gym deserves a special mention for their lack of professionalism and disregard for their members. They prioritize their interests and financial gains over providing quality service and support.THE ADMINISTRATION CREW SEEMED UNINTERESTED AND UNRESPONSIVE whenever I needed assistance or had questions regarding my membership. It was frustrating to deal with their dismissive attitude and lack of accountability. They appeared more concerned with avoiding responsibility than addressing legitimate concerns or issues raised by members.Furthermore, their handling of membership cancellations or modifications could have been much better. They deliberately made it difficult for people to cancel their memberships, hoping to retain as many paying customers as possible. The administration crew's lack of transparency and unwillingness to address member concerns only reinforced the perception that their primary objective was to trap individuals into long-term contracts. In addition, they seemed to have little regard for the satisfaction and well-being of their members, treating them as mere commodities rather than valued customers. The administration crew's behavior exemplifies a complete disregard for ethical business practices. Their focus on maximizing profits at member satisfaction's expense is disappointing and disheartening. As consumers, we deserve better treatment and respect from the organizations we entrust with our health and fitness goals.Especially when they are actually "our neighbors."I must say, my experience with this particular gym has been incredibly disappointing. Clearly, their primary objective is to ensnare individuals into long-term memberships rather than genuinely valuing their customers. From the moment I walked through their doors, I felt like nothing more than a potential revenue source. The staff members were disinterested and lacked genuine care for their client's well-being. They seemed more focused on their sales pitches and convincing people to sign up for costly memberships than providing guidance and support for those seeking to improve their fitness. Evidently, their primary concern was maximizing profits, not fostering a welcoming and supportive environment. Moreover, the gym's business practices were outright predatory. They employed manipulative tactics, such as concealing vital information and burying essential details in the fine print of their contracts. It was disheartening to see how they capitalized on people's desire to lead healthier lives, taking advantage of their vulnerability and trust. It has been two weeks since I requested SOMEONE give me a call back with explanations on why I do not have available that I have signed up for. The lack of transparency was deeply troubling, as the actual cost and commitment associated with their memberships only became apparent once individuals were already trapped within the contract. In addition, it was clear that the gym's main priority was securing long-term financial commitments rather than promoting the well-being of its members.Overall, my experience with this gym was thoroughly disappointing. It is disheartening to witness an establishment that claims to be in the fitness industry but fails to prioritize the needs and aspirations of its customers. I sincerely hope that individuals looking for a gym find one that genuinely values its members and prioritizes their health and well-being over profit margins.

I’ve been working out here for about a year and a half. The staff that was recently brought in is great! The place has never been more clean or organized. My husband mentioned a few pieces of equipment that he’d like to Matt, the PT. Not even a week later, they have it ordered and on the way. There’s plenty of room, and all the equipment you’d need to get a good lift.

It’s too bad I signed up this Anytime Fitness. I had breast cancer surgery and I requested my cancellation of the membership through certified mail, not email, not on the phone allowed but only with certified mail to quit membership for I have to do chemo, and radiation therapy. They asked my physician’s letter and signed document for my permanent disability. What the heck?Aren’t we living in 21st century ?I sent CERTIFIED Mail of my surgery date and my status of breast cancer. They demand more paperwork to stop my membership. As long as you are not permanently disabledYou won’t GET OUT OF the CONTRACT with ANYTIME FITNESS.This is worst service ever I experienced with gym.Be careful if you want to have contract with them.I would NEVER ever sign with them.

I cancelled my membership back in February of 2022 and I’m still getting charged. No one ever answered the phones even when you leave vmail and the emails one ever reads them either. Horrible place to deal with!!
