Takes months to even get an appointment so make sure you have your information correct beforehand. Staff was not helpful

I’ve called about 10 times in 2 days to schedule routine exam for my dog. Goes to voicemail & says they’re closed. Tried the app & it was for 2 months out. My dog has been a patient with them her entire 12 years & on the optimum wellness plan. It’s ridiculous

I’ve called at least 6 times in the last two days and left multiple voicemails and have not received a call back to schedule annual vaccines. Previously they scheduled my dog for a spay and took us in an hour late just to tell us they will not spay her because it was too close to her heat to get her spayed. They did not tell me that on the phone when I scheduled. They even asked for the date of her previous heat. They told me call back in two months when their schedule opens to reschedule. I called three months in a row and they were booked. Did not acknowledge the fact that they gave me incorrect information. Ended up paying to get her spayed elsewhere for a service I was already paying monthly for under their wellness program so that money was pretty much wasted. There have been other times I show up at 7:30 for a drop off appointment and they do not take my dog until 9:00 leading me to be late for work. One excuse was a pet before us had an emergency. I called 3 times and told them I was about to leave before they explained the situation and finally took my dog. They already knew I was there when I checked in so they should’ve just called. Do not go here. They are inconsiderate of people’s time, money, and health and wellness of their pets. The wellness plan is not worth the money if they won’t even answer their phones to book your visits.

If you use Banfield, go to southern pines or Sanford. They cancelled my appointment to do an emergency surgery, said they'd call back to schedule for August, the staff failed to do anything. I had to call to be put on a cancellation list, they have no appointments and the receptionist gave me all the wrong information and did all the wrong things... They could call me tomorrow for a surgery opening and I wouldn't be able to take it considering I told receptionist she was in heat(which would have never happened if they didn't cancel the surgery or rescheduled me, put me on a cancellation call list initially after cancelling my appointment for another pet) and surgeries during heat are not recommended, generally not done, cost more, have more complications and I don't even know if they doctor there would even do it. I finally got all the correct information from the other 2 locations.Edit: to response I didn't have an issue getting an appointment, I have an issue with them cancelling mine and then failing to do their job, including lying or misinforming me.

We have an insurance plan and was just told we had to take our fur baby somewhere else.. had her at the pet ER yesterday. Thay said take her today to our regular vet to have some tests ran. Well, our regular BANFIELD said we have to take her elsewhere. Bullcrap.cant even bring her in for testing to maybe referred out someplace......... ZERO STAR RATING.

Great atmosphere when entering! Loved the customer service form the front desk, assistants and the doctors! A HUGE THANK YOU TO TINA for being able to getting us in when we needed it for our baby Chanel. Definitely never felt more comfortable about bringing my beloved animals here.P. S: check out the wellness plans they have, all is paid for and never have to worry about anything being out of pocket.

The staffers are okay and they try to assist as much as they can. Majority in the front are new. Since I have a puppy, been going there for 8 months and finally met the doctor. The only reason I met the doctor because she was informed about my frustration of not speakingto a doctor.Always have to tell the staff what the issues are and they take your pet to the back and then come back to let you know what the doctor said or prescribed. I don't even know if the doctor actually examined my pets or administered any shots. The doctor tells me how busy she is and how she fit me in for this appointment. The reason it was a fit in is because my previous appointment, I went to, they had a fill in doctor, who supposedly cannot prescribed anything and the Doctor nor the Tech wrote any notes in the chart. I specifically asked them will they annotated on his chart so when the doctor comes back from vacation he/she will see it. I was told yes, they will. Bottom line this appointment was made to see the doctor and explain the concerns. I have the right to be present and should be able to speak to the doctor. Parents/owners should get a chance to explain in detail the reason of the appointment to the doctor. If that's not the case, they the appointment should not have the doctor name on it. This is not pet care, pet Love. This place is is how many animals can come per day and how much money can be made. Then the doctor gives a prescription to the staffer to give it to me without having the full facts/information. Just Sad.

Customer service is always great. I can't speak to the care of my pet, as I always have to drop her off (there choice not my mine), but she never seems traumatized when I pick her up.

Around one and a half months ago I noticed my senior cat was acting out of character and doing odd things, such as trying to use the restroom yet nothing coming out. So, me and my mother called banfield and told them about this behavior. They said it could be a UTI or behavioral issues, but they would do a full check on him and his body. They apparently found nothing. Ok cool. Yesterday, he looked very sick. He wasn't moving around much, and was crying in pain. We check around his body, and we find a BUMP on his underside. After we checked, he went right back to those "behavioral issues" and acting out of character, including not actually using the restroom. It's safe to assume they either found the bump and didn't notify us about it, or (more realistically) didn't ACTUALLY look or do any check around his body. This could've been prevented sooner if we went to a better hospital. Don't waste your money on this poor and sad excuse for a pet hospital please. Attached is a photo of my cat, Midnight.

At first, the service was good, the staff was excellent, they care. But wish the Dr that saw my dog was a better vet, went there to get meds for his stool to get harder, hours later, I walked out with his harness and sweater, she decided to put my dog down, showing me false info of my dogs xrays. Sorry, but they destroyed me when they took my dog life.

The first time I used banfield, there were multiple clinics we could choose from. Now, there’s only one around all of Fayetteville area and it is absolutely ridiculous! I would have never wasted my money on a puppy wellness plan with them had I known the wait time just to drop off is more than 20 minutes and I can’t even get my puppy checked out in a reasonable time frame if something is wrong with him. The wait time to bring him in is even longer. I do not recommend Banfield around Fayetteville and I will never go back to them after our puppy plan ends. Only reason I deal with them now is because canceling the wellness plan will cost more. I would recommend to go anywhere else but banfield unless you don’t mind wasting your time and money.

Just ok. I've seen countless horror stories about Banfield (in general, not this location specifically) but fortunately, my experience here has been ok. The staff is ok, not all of them are friendly but some are. Ideally, when you take your dog to the vet you'd like to interact with people that seem to have a passion for animal care. I understand that this is a pet hospital and that there are dogs/other pets in and out all day but it doesn't seem like they take the time to sweep/do light cleaning throughout the day. There is pet hair EVERYWHERE, so just be prepared for that. Also, my dog isn't crate-trained so I always prefer not to drop her off. But, I understand that sometimes dropping her off is necessary. What I don't like is that every time I take her, I always emphasize for them to call as soon as she's ready for me to pick her up. This is NEVER the case. She's always finished and then left in the cage for hours until they finally call (or I call to check in). Definitely room for improvement here.
