Worst banking experience ever. The staff is elitist and the customer service is abysmal. On more than one occasion we were met with racial discrimination by the same bank teller, named Padma. This teller even went so far as to accuse my 17yo son of fraudulent banking activities, when he was merely cashing his check from work. When asked to speak to the branch manager we were denied. This was the final straw. We immediately left & went to another Truist branch location & relayed the information we were giving by Padma & her cronies from the other location, only to be told what we already knew, which was they saw no such activity & didn't know where she was getting this information from. They immediately cashed his check and offered an apology, while helping me file a complaint. I am in the process of suing for racial discrimination by this branch with a focus on the bank teller named Padma.

Very poor customer service. You should never have to wait an hr for receiving a notary that should only take 5-10mins.

These people are thieves. Twice this year they have double drafted my mortgage payment, sending me into a negative balance. Five (5) days after I made my mortgage payment, Truist mortgage did a "force pay" out of my Truist checking account on Monday, November 21st, sending me into a negative balance. The local Truist Bank manager called them on my behalf on the same day. She was directed to six (6) different people and had to explain 6 times what had happened. They told her it would be three (3) business days before they could put the money back into my account. Three business days later, the money still hasn't been put back into my account. I called this morning and had to explain all over again, as if we had not already had this conversation. I called this morning and the client service rep. said that she could see where they processed the request on November 23rd, two days after they said they would do it. The rep. told me it would be another 3 business days before it would post to my account. I asked to speak to someone so that they could explain to me exactly what the HELL they did after we informed them that they had stolen my money on November 21st. All she said was that, I'm sorry they told you that, it takes six days to process the request. I said please connect me to someone that can explain to me why the HELL nothing was done on November 21 or November 22. She said, "I told you, it takes six business days." Of course the HELL it takes six (6) business days if you do absolutely NOTHING for two days. The 24th was Thanksgiving, so nothing was done then.Me: Why are you guys so quick to steal my money but it takes 6 days to put it backHer: I don't see where they stole your money.Me: Is it my money?Her: YesMe: Did I give you permission to take it?Her: NoMe: Well then that's stealing, isn't it?Her: Did you have it on auto-draft?Me: NoHer: Oh...BB&T was great. I loved the customer service. The people were great. They could fix a problem usually on the same day but now, since they merged with Suntrust to form Truist, they are nothing but criminals. As soon as the interest rates go back down I'm refinancing.

I had been calling around so I can open a trust account. I went to the BB&T in the Westwood plaza they couldn’t help me. We ended up getting in contact with Mrs. Patricia Rossano. She was completely awesome. Set me an appointment. Was patient with us because I had just got off work and was late for my appointment. She got me together and in and out. I couldn’t ask for better customer service. If you see this. Thank you Mrs. Patricia. I greatly appreciate your service.

Went here to get advice on a situation me and my husband were having, the First Lady we talked to was very nice, then she sent us over to speak to Chase. He was nice at first when he wasn't helping us. But once we went in to get advice he was very rude about it all. We said we would just have to do this instead of that and he basically said it was a very stupid idea and not to do it because he wouldn't, we didn't come in for a personal opinion we came in for help and that's the last thing he did and then tried to tell us we're 600$ behind on payments when we have bank statements from every payment we've had and he said there's nothing they could do about it.
