I called budget 2 times before my reservation pickup date to make sure my form of payment was accepted. Budget assured me it was and I prepaid using this payment method. The day of pickup I was told I would not be able to use the form of payment even though it was prepaid. I was livid. I did everything I was supposed to even confirming way before time everything was in order. So after going back and forth having to basically get nasty I received a rental. In which it was the same vehicle I ordered. The van was uncleaned. You can tell the last person did their drop-off sweep through and that was how I got it. No walkthrough or nothing. Budget services are horrible!!!

Worst customer service at the Raleigh airport. . Booked for a car over a week prior, I get there and they say they don’t have it. Phones don’t even work at this airport location, they don’t answer calls they said. Never will I recommend anyone to them. Enterprise is way better

Not satisfied. I went to their website, rented a car online. Fill out all of my information, paid my deposit, received a confirmation. I get there and I was informed that the car I had chosen was not available, the car was picked from a national database and those are not the available cars. You only available cars they had were two, two! One was a minivan one was a pickup truck, both much more than the price of the economy car I rented.

Reserved the car and when picking up the counter personnel gave very poor information. I was never told I would have a deposit charged to my card. They charged me 200.00 over the agreed price without letting me know.when I brought the car back I ensured I filled it back up. They still tried to charge me a refuel charge after the drop off. I called and spoke to a representative and they basically tried to negotiate the overcharges instead of refunding them. I asked them to give me a reference where the contract indicated a deposit would be held and they couldn’t do so. I spoke with a manager and he refunded the entire amount that was overcharged. I will NEVER deal with budget again as they are not upfront or honest with there customers.

Long story short, I had an issue with the vehicle. Pick-up location wasn't able to swap it, only option was to wait for mobile mechanic. I did not have the time, I rented a vehicle to not deal with this stuff. Last option was to call corporate and see if they can do something for me. After hours of waiting and talking to a few reps, the call was "disconnected". This was my first time renting from Budget in a while, I was trying to save money. I will continue to rent from Hertz from now on, lesson learned. Dont sacrifice safety for money.

I rented a compact car and they ran out. Instead of accommodating me for the same price as my reservation, they upcharged me. They were on their phones in slouchy posture on the desk looking lazy and unhappy to help.

Never will I use this company again. Made reservations almost 2 months ahead and prepaid. I went to airport 2 hours early to make sure I would get the minivan I reserved and was told they only had a large suv suburban and if I didn’t take it then it probably wouldn’t be available at 10. So I was charged for a 2 hour early pickup. It was the worst. Why make reservations if the company will not honor them?? Never again

Paid for a 7 passenger rental 10 days prior to needing it. Came 3 days prior to speak to desk to confirm they would have one. They assured me they had plenty of cars.I arrive to get the vehicle and the only one they had has a flat tire. Lady at desk basically told me there is no others so I can wait for them to repair or get a refund. Thanks for the great start to my vacation.

Got a quote of $88 and all they had was one car. I agreed. When I called to extend the rental I was informed that the reservation did not exist. Returned the car at 4a my flight was at 5:45a. No one there so I left the keys and was charged $99! Called k spoke to one REO who couldn't find my account and had to transfer me. After the new rep found she couldn't even explain some of the charges. This location is horrible!

If only there was a place to put negative stars.I was given a car to drive between states and all systems failed on the highway. Had been in the fast lane it would have caused a multi car pile up.When I called roadside assistance they were short and irritated by my call. I sat on the side of the highway- a single woman for hours. No one at budget cared at all. I got it towed and had to drive 90 min with a total stranger in a tow truck. The technician at drop off told me they know about the problems with the car they rented me.I’m the end I was given a 30% discount even though I missed the reason I was traveling anyway.I will NEVER go near Budget ever again.

Reservation was cancelled without my consent. Vehicle was changed and staff assisted as much as possible. This experience was a mess on the day of pickup that resulted in me not being able to leave on the right day! Staff did keep my vehicle available for me to be able to pickup next day for which I was grateful but this rental reservation was a mess.

Arrived at FAY with a reservation for a car, however, upon arrival I was told there were no available cars and that I would need to come back the next morning. I ended up having to get a hotel plus pay for a Lyft to get me to the hotel and back to the airport, along with food for the evening. The lack of a vehicle significantly delayed my schedule and I will not do business with or recommend Budget again. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Prepaid and the car wasn’t there when I went to pick it up. They said prepaying still doesn’t guarantee they’ll have the car. They told me I’d have to pay for an upgrade for the next available car (which was just their way of trying to make commission) even when it was their fault the cars were gone. After waiting 45 minutes, the car I rented magically became available even though no one brought keys back to the desk.
