I loved this place because of the other employees but the Manager is the most hateful being possible. He is very rude and doesn’t uphold the company values.

Build a bear is a joke heard about the birthday bear pay your age, so I gonin there with my new born and they tell me since she isn't 1 that we would have to pay the full $14 dollars.... really?? Build a bear you are a scam.. was hoping to start a tradition of getting a bear every year, but never mind now.

I was very underwhelmed with my experience at this workshop. I took my daughter to do her birthday bear (1yr old) & the experience was not what I expected. The bear is very good quality, however I felt that we were very rushed during the process & felt that the employee did not care to make It very much of an experience for my daughter. We did not get to take time to take as many photos as I would have liked. We also were not given the option to dress her bear in the store or give It a name.

I came in for my son’s first birthday and instantly we were mistreated. The second we walked in we went over to the audio section to record a special message and were told not to touch it if we don’t plan on buying it because it would be of no use to us. Following that, as I was recording my message the workers were rolling their eyes and giving dirty looks to the people behind me because it took me a minute to record my message. The lady doing the stuffing did not even make it a fun experience for us at all. There was no kissing the heart, giving the bear a big hug, and spinning around before we stuff it. I have gone to many build a bears and have always done fun and exciting things. Additionally, the audi recording was very low, so you can barely hear what we are saying. It truly is unfortunate that I am giving this review right now because build a bears was a magical experience for me as a kid and I had hoped that it would be the same for my son. Friendliness goes a long way, it’s a shame that the workers here don’t care about children.

Super rude workers. We went for my daughter’s birthday and the worker did not explain that the voices came in the birthday package then was annoyed when we added the voice after stuffing. She did not explain anything about the process and ruined the experience for us.

I wish I had gotten the name of the employee on duty this afternoon! She was absolutely amazing helping my daughter and I build her birthday bear, truly went above and beyond with the experience (and also made it so easy on me, too). Store itself was clean and organized as well. We had a wonderful time and made some amazing memories, thank you! I wish I could give more stars!

Always the hot spot for any kid in the mall. So personalized and a wonderful heartwarming experience for a child to be able to use their creativity & imagination to create their own furry BFF! Go make one if you have not yet done so! They also have a birthday bear which you pay the child's age for. Example my daughter has gotten a bear every year since the age of 2 up until this month when she turned 7 so we have paid a TOTAL of $27 for 5 bears which is less than a cost of 1 bear. They have the cutest accessories as well. Go take the kids or the big kid in you.

Ms Stephanie helped replace a bear that we got that the seams were a bit weak. It was smooth. She was so kind and helped me fix the new one just right. We will be back here again.

Worst experience thanks to a worker
My 5 year old has been loving build a bear. We pretty much go every week and get 1-2 animals plus accessories. Well today the lady at the ceremony station was extremely rude to my 5 year old when we asked to add a sound to our animal… she rolled her eyes and made a super mean and mad face. A kids store should never have rude or mean people working there. They should never act or behave like that either. She ruined the experience for us and we left without purchasing anything. The workers name is Stefanie from what the manager told me. Also, The manager also didn’t do anything about it. We have met so many of the workers from the store and most of them are kind even when it was busy during the Christmas season. But Stephanie was rude, mean, and ugly with her behavior. Super pathetic since she is old.

We went in to get our son a birthday bear which I said several times to the lady about how he’s turning 1 so we get the $1 birthday bear. I pick up the birthday bear and she hands me a different one saying it’s fluffier. I don’t say anything because I didn’t think anything of it. She didn’t tell us what to do next after we stuffed the bear. She just started helping new customers and left us there. So we go to checkout. Then the cashier tells us he could unstuff the bear we got and restuff the birthday bear. At this point I just wanted to leave. It was so frustrating because the woman didn’t seem to know what she was talking about for anything.
